Hi atozed,
Can you please provide me with both order numbers and the name of the product so I can issue an instore credit to you for the duplicate item?
Thank you,
OK. I've re-sent my original email to both the store and admin email addresses. Hope it makes it.
Thread: Time to leave V4? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

In Poser we've come to expect V4 to work much better than it does in Studio, because of deals like V4wmas, V4-WM, X&M's Perfect, i13's Overhaul, etc.
Well, since I've been using V4 with X&M's Perfect morphs and some of i13's squish products for some time now, in DAZ Studio, that's not really an issue. True, DS doesn't have access to the weight-mapped figures, but if I need better bending, I'll use my Genesis 2 figures.

I'm a Poser user. I was a DS user, but gave up for reasons others have outlined eloquently above. Personally, I don't see V4 as a Daz product anymore since their latest >Studio doesn't support it very well: it's all about V7, now.
Please explain how Daz Studio does not support V4. It actually adds the ability to project morphs that are not present in the clothing with a right click.
Yes. Please explain. I use V4 in Daz Studio all the time. And with the new iRay rendering engine, her characters and outfits have never looked better. There is very little difference using her in DS or Poser.

Try these:

The second pair has a material pose to hide the straps.
Thread: Sub categories in the market place | Forum: Suggestion Box
Agree!
In all honesty, I liked your store from 2005 much more than these new incarnations. Why? For example, if I was looking for clothing for Aiko 3, I would just navigate the categories as follows: People -> Aiko 3 -> Clothing (or something like that). Simple, to the point, worked every time (almost).
With the current store, I can only use: 3D Figure Essentials -> Clothing. And then what? I can't specify the figure. Do I have to browse through all clothing for all figures to find what I want? Sure, I can add a search term. But do I use 'aiko 3', 'a3', 'aiko3', etc? All return different results. And what if there's no mention of aiko 3 at all in the product name? Same goes for all other figures.
Searching is still useless as well. I rarely find what I'm looking for. I try to use it, but i'm usually dissapointed with the results.
You've been told over and over again in the forums, and in the feedback you keep requesting, that proper categories is important to your customers. You've simply ignored this, and made the product categories worse and worse with every new web site update. To the point where they're pretty much useless now.
Please look at the DAZ or Runtime DNA stores for inspiration regarding this subject. They're not perfect, but they're a damn sight better than what you currently have.

You mean 2 bones for each toe. Right? Otherwise how are you going to curl them?
Thread: Inquiry for interest: Look at my Hair for Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - No, I'm not interested at all, especially not after seeing the Garibaldi Express Hair System for DS. Sorry to say so, but yours doesn't seems to produce anything I cannot do with the poser hair room (for free) already.
It all seems to be a bit rough, while the Garibaldi Express Hair System seems to producing much more refined hair styles for a lower price.
I'd rather see improvements in poser's hair room and it seems that they're there already. If Smith Micro decided to improve the hair room and it's shaders, I'll be paying just as much for the poser upgrade as I will for a new hair plugin.
After struggling to make a furry dog over the past few months, I've come to the conclusion that the Poser hair room is a bad joke gone terribly, terribly wrong! And I have zero confidence in Smith Micro creating a proper interface for the hair room.
If the LAMH plugin for Poser was available today, and did nothing but apply the great presets that are available on the furrythings web site, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. If its features are on par with the D|S version for the same price, then Halleluiah Brother!
Thread: New Daz Horse. How well does it work in Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Nope. The textures were totally redone from scratch since it's a new UV. If they were just going to convert, they would have simply made a compatible uv for it.
Also I think it's very insulting to say the PAs were converting stuff, when I know they were starting from scratch. Speak of what you know about and do your research.
Absolute BS. From the looks of it, the mesh was derived from the original Millennium horse (shouldn't matter though, as long as it works).
The textures are the same as before, with some rework to accommodate the modified UV. This is disappointing since they could have taken the opportunity to add bump maps, displacement, etc. to make them look that much better.
The saddles are refits, with the same textures, and the same problems posing the bridle and stirrups as the old ones. I loaded up both the old English saddle and the new one, and was able to apply the old textures to the new saddle and the new textures to the old saddle (i.e. same product). Couldn't try with the western saddle cause I can't see it!
The new mane is a disaster, and the new tail doesn't look as good as the old one (in my opinion). And what happened to the fetlocks? What this horse needs is a competent hair vendor to create the manes, tails and fetlocks for it (e.g. someone like Mairy and 3Dream).
I also have issues with the tongue. Instead of morphs, it is implemented with bones, and there does not seem to be any master controls for them. What used to be easy to manipulate is now quite tedious.
Also, for the price, I would expect it to come with a basic pair of horseshoes. But it doesn't! (I know I'm nitpicking, but I've been having this kind of afternoon, and I feel like nitpicking.)
I initially bought this thing to use with RawArt's MLP morph to create some MLP wallpaper for my niece (but I did want to use it for normal renders as well). I'm finding that the mane has issues conforming to the MLP morph, and I had to use magnets to fix the poke-trough. Not a huge deal, but it does point to ongoing issues with the DSON transfer utility. BTW. My library panel froze a couple of times when playing with the horse. I'm using the latest DSON support script, and the latest version of Poser, so that problem still hasn't gone away.
Sorry to sound so negative, but this "upgrade" feels more like a downgrade to me. It appears to be totally rushed to market, with very little attempt to make it a better product. Quite frankly, if I needed to do a normal horse render today, I would use the millennium horse. I have better textures for it, I actually like the look of it better, and it is better behaved in Poser.
I'm going to sleep on it, but I'll probably be asking for my money back tomorrow.
