Quote - It isnt the download that is the problem. ย I have all my files its unzipping them one by one that is the nightmare. ย Last time it took two days and I didnt even finish. ย Its just a pain.
A program like 7zip can extract any archives files in a directory at once. Select all the zip files and just chose a directory to unzip.

Cross talk problem ?
I think we should have actor BODY:1 in the pz2 instead of actor BODY

Amazing, I was thinking about the next version of poser just before opening Thunderbird and BOOM that e-mail from Smith Micro "Announcing Poser Pro 2014 & Poser 10 - Available May 21"......

An unbiased renderer without the power of GPU only acceleration is a no sense today.
I have both Reality and Octane plugins for Poser and I have better results with just 30 seconds with octane than 30 minutes with Lux (despite CPU 12 threads).
So we will have to wait the next Lux version with GPU only acceleration for better comparisons knowing already that a NVIDIA cards will be useless until NVIDIA decides to improve OpenCL support in their drivers.
Thread: External Binary Morphs - am I the Lone Ranger? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I only use external binary morphs since nearly 3 years and never have major problems.
I even have converted all my runtimes items to binary morphs and you can't imagine how much space disk you can save. I also have created for example a V4 cr2 with all morphs (++, aiko, Girl and even some NGM morphs) on an unique external PMD. With this I can use huge PZ3 scenes with less than 1MB size instead of 100 MB or more without EBM ! And of course scenes are loaded in less than 10 seconds.
I recently even have extracted embedded delta morphs in pz2 files.
To solve any PMD link problem I highly recommend the D3D tools and the poser file organizer in particular. There has never been what you can call corruption files with PMD, it's just that the the PMD link in the pz3 files is wrong because it has been moved or relatives paths are not been used. So edit the pz3 if necessary.

The standalone is displaying correctly the 6 GB. I need to find a large scene on the computer to check the poser plugin memory display.
By the way thanks for the new test build 1.11t and bringing the 1.11 version improvements to the plugin ;)

I have bought a GTX TITAN. Great improvement, more than 2X faster then my previous 660 GTX Ti.
But I have a problem with memory with Poser plugin : only 2GB is recognize and not 6 GB.
I have also noticed that rendering in the standalone app seems to be faster. Or it is just the material conversion ? because exporting a poser scene and then import it to the standalone app is tedious for configuration of all materials.Would it be possible Paul to add an export nodes option in the poser plugin and then import it in the standalone ? and also to render a scene done with poser without poser launched.

Some UAC problem I guess. Make sure you're running as an administator account when unzipping the files.

By the way, when I run the "create emitters from lights" script, Poser always ask me to locate the ball.pzz or else prop located in the folder :Runtime:libraries:Props:Primitives. So I always have to manually locate it. Why ?
I'm also considering to update my GPU card. For now I have a GTX 660 Ti for Octane render and a GTX 650 for display or use both when I don't need to do something else in the computer when rendering. GTX 580 seems for the moment to be the best price/speed value but the max textures limitation can be a problem with Fermi generation cards. If I run a Fermi + a Kepler card, will the texture limitations increase or will be still limited by the Fermi card ? I also read that the Octane developpers team is working to optimize the Kepler performances for the future versions of Octane render. Does is it still worth to invest in a Fermi card if in the future Kepler cards will be more efficient. I say that because power consumption and overheat of Fermi vs Kepler, the choice is clearly made.

It removes dials of channels that are not visible or don't exist. This option is generaly safe don't worry.

When I add a reflection map on the cornea in Poser, the plugin convert it to a specular node and the maps image files are not included, tried to tweak the reflection node with no success.
As you see in the picture above. The eyes lack of definition and reflections.
