Use a .bat file with a XCOPY command. There are plenty of tutorials on the net for this.

Thread: upgrading from C4 | Forum: Carrara
There is no upgrade directly to C6 from C4. You'll want to find that magazine if you can.
Quote - So, if you have Carrara 4, make sure you upgrade now, as there won't be any upgrades to version 6 from anything older than Carrara 5.
You can read the whole post here: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=61943

Thread: DAZ Studio 1.7 is released. Wait until you see what it's like!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Considering that DAZ was considering using Python in the beginniing and I believe that there was a conflict with using the open sourced QT libraries that prompted them to take a different direction all together.
The problem was that the Mac version of Python was severely lagging behind the Windows version so Python was abandoned in favor of the native QTscript language.

Sounds familiar. I'll be interested in what you come up with. I link to applications that do what the PDT does because no program will fill all niches (and mine definitely doesn't). When you get it done, send me a link via site mail and I'll put it on my site.

Quote - Faveral posted a preview in the Commons at DAZ, apparently his next product will be one of those. Can you wait until it's released?
And now it has been released:

Thread: Visual index of Poser 7 Content | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The docs are available as a separate download at:
thelamp.100webcustomers.com/download.php
They will be staying as HTML but mainly because I plan on having them part of the 2.0 version and I can use a browser control to read them about 17 seconds faster than a .pdf and .hlp is windows only.
When 2.0 goes live I'll post a link in this thread.

Quote - There's 2 others that I know of & have tried. There's Poser Download Tracker & Poser Products Database, both are free but not really that user friendly, might just be me though. I'll see if I can find the links again & post them here.
As the author of the Poser Download Tracker I would be very interested in hearing what is not user friendly about it. I have version two in beta right now and if there is something that can be done with a tweak I am open to the suggestion.

Hi!
The link I referenced in the FAQ is the "Poser Products Database Companion" by sammy2 at DAZ and hosted by Mystic Nights. I don't know why the forums at DAZ are not remembering you when you click through as it seems to link through to DAZ just fine for me.
The direct link to the program is at: http://mystic-nights.com/poser/downloads/Utilities/Poser-DB-Companion/index.html
As to the comment about phishing, I am busy enough with my own life and I certainly don't have the time or desire to have anyone else's identity.
All that said, I have noticed that I have an old link in the menu going to my old comcast pages so I'll be fixing that sometime tonight.

Quote - Found it. Hmmm, change its texture a bit, and it could pass for a possum (except for the tail), or a muskrat.
