Well as much as I hate to admit, I saved up , worked overtime and bought canon 20D with macro lense and am more than satisfied, 20D with canon give you a lot of lense possibilities. my 2 cents good luck tought decision for me, spent almost a year deciding (course i'm way over analytical)

Well now that i'm here it should start to pick up LOL kidding (no i dont have that kind of ego) Well i don't write stories, i either write poetry or i write articles/statements about things in the world that i feel strongly about. for me, my writing are tied to my emotional states. when i'm IN the writing mood, i just go with it. i don't analyse what i'm writing. i write and if i only write 4 lines, then that's it. my poetry is varied like that. sometimes i go back and work on a poem sometimes i say 4 lines is enough i cant think of how else to make it "better" when i write an article about something, i just let it pour out. then i go back and make sure it all makes sense. since i don't write stories i can't relate to the writers block thing, but i hope my response fits in the "what gets me flowing" question asked here, and again, i'm a passionate/emotional guy (not a typical macho guy, so i'm in touch with all my varied feelings) so for me, again, it's anger, love, detachment, etc. that does it for me. or some particular thought that i need to figure out.

Hi mayliah! Don't be shy! You've got something to express? Express it! Don't be self-conscious or anything like that. You've got something to say and in your own way so go for it! Remember, everyone always has something good AND bad to say, just take them all with a grain of salt and learn from this crazy world we live in ! Cya round!

Yeah, I'd agree with the above folks. I new I'd be passionate about it, so I saved and bought the Canon 100mm. If I wasn't passionate about it, i'd go the used route with a Sigma or a 50mm or a little higher. Sigma's are really Sharp, sometimes sharper than canon i hear but in the end, it's all the photographer anyway. Good luck let us know what you end up getting!

Hey all, thanks for stopping by to say Hi! This place looks like a great community and not just photography wise. Kort - that looks like a moth to me, and what I like to recommend to everyone is a GREAT bug identification site called Bug Guide http://www.bugguide.net. LOTS of experts, it's a free site, everyday people to pro's post pics to submit as already ID'd or to ask for ID. I recommend you post your photo up there! ;) Damia - i can somewhat relate - I have a love relationship with spiders, I love em, but I have nightmares and night-terrors about them - to the point where I wake up and point to them crawling down from the ceiling, crawling on my pillow and what-not,. and there's nothing there (as witnessed by my g/f). Well, cya's all around !
