You can also easily do this in Photoshop.
Just import your rendered scene (PSD or Tiff) into Photoshop and add a dark layer, on top, at whatever transparancy you want and then use a very weak, soft-edged eraser brush to reveal what you want exposed. If done correctly, you can have a bright;y lit center with the light falling off with distance. This technique is called "painting with light" and can be found in Photoshop tutorials.

Content Advisory! This message contains nudity
Doesn't covering up all these images in fact constitute a kind of fraud. You can't work with poser figures without them being nude during the process of setting up your scene.
By covering up the "childhish figures aren't you implying that it is possible to not have to see "nudity" when working with this program. Isn't this a lie?

It would be great if there was a "No-Postwork" gallery. I'm fed up with all those lame, dull, expressionless images that are poorly lit and horribly executed. If a person has no imagination further than what can be done in the Poser renderer, then I think it would be great for their images to go into their own exclusive gallery. This way, I won't have to see these pictures ever again since I won't ever go into that gallery. Please, Please, Please bring this on!!!!! Also can we have a "NVIATWAS" gallery also.

The Hand Grasp, Thumb Grasp and Spread are a much needed addition finally. Will save so much time. "Spread" is a little wonky since the effect isn't uniform but it is still worth having.

You talk about how long it took you to render your pic. That doesn't mean anything unless we know the specs on the computer you are using.
