Congratulations! This was a fun challenge, and it was nice seeing a bump in forum participation. Will the Community Summer Carnival become an annual event? If it isn't already, that is. I don't remember carnivals being announced in summers past... though I admittedly don't stop by the Renderosity Forums to often these days.

Also, the graphic at the top of the page isn't showing me all the winners from 1st to 5th for the individual booths. For example, I'm getting 2nd place for the Blender booth, and 5th for the Face Painting booth, but not the other placements in those booths. Is that just a bug on my end?

I love creating artwork, I don’t really need AI to help me enjoy what I am doing. I may not be great compared to others or even AI but I do like my own ideas and creations, some more than others. That being said you don’t need to use it if you don’t like it, you still do have a choice, and if you do like it have at it. So far last I look our free will is still available …. For now.

Agree 100%. I enjoy creating Daz renders as much as I enjoyed painting and sculpture. I also enjoy post-working renders to resemble paintings or other styles needed for specific projects. Sometimes a bit frustrating when I can't find the right model for a scene (especially when not available as a purchasable product or generous freebie), but pretty rewarding when I can kit-bash or create said model on my own.

I prefered Renderosity's and Renderhub's nice and simple Black Friday sales over Daz3d's this year. The whole "punch-card" wierdness was just a turnoff, and I'm not interested in Gen9 (and most human-figure related products) at the moment. I don't know why Daz3D sales are getting more complicated, but glancing at related forum posts over there showed some customers did benefit from it - to each his own, I s'pose. Hopefully Daz3D will have something easier to deal with at the end of the year so I can finally put a dent in my wishlist.

Thank you, PetuniaPetals. I did bite the bullet finally and purchased both Savannah Cat and Kitten morphs for Cat Zeus. Thank you for the advice on how to use with Daz3D version of Zeus... I'm always a bit nervous editing morph files, but I'll give it a try when I get a chance. Hopefully the poor kitty has found a permanent home at Renderhub.

Thank you, hborre. Over at Renderhub now, huh? I think I'll give up on Zeus and Mars considering the sketchy availability, and hope for either further development of the HIveWire3D Housecat or the long-promised release of AM's Housecat...
