The topology looks very nice and clean with a good flow of edgeloops! You have a good basis for adding additional details when needed. I can highly recommend the huge thread Topology Research at CGTalk. There are some 600 postings in that thread but it's a must for anyone interested in human topology.

Thread: Need help: Cast Shadows and FireFly | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
onnetz: I tried reposition the lights but had no success, the object was still black.**
**kuroyume0161: Yep, you are correct -- scaling the object seems to do the trick as well. From 101% to 130% nothing happened, but at 140% the textures started to appear and from 150% and up everything looks OK.
Thanks for your help, guys, now I at least know how to work around the problem!

Update on delivery of prizes
First of all I'm sorry that this has taken so long but after I made the announcment this Monday I was floored by the flu and haven't been able to do any work at all for the last three days. I'm still a bit shaky and will probably not be up to speed for at least a couple of days.
Due to this things has been a bit delayed. Don't worry, we'll make sure everyone will get their prizes, it's just going to take a few days extra.
As soon as I can sit any longer period of time in front of the computer I will contact all the winners and inform them they have won. I will also contact all the sponsor and provide them with relevant contact information and they will in turn get in touch with the winners and arrange delivery.
Once again, I'm sorry about the delay.

LOL, you are not the first one to ask for that little gadget to be converted into a Poser prop! I'll see what I can do down the road ;) /Anders

Thread: Question about props and compatibility | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Nope, no fancy P6 materials, just plain ol' UV-mapped bitmaps :) I think a Poser 4 saved version of the prop would be a smaller file than the equivalent in P6. Yes, that's a good point... OK, I will give it some thought! /Anders

Thread: Question about props and compatibility | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Strange seeing you in these here parts. ;) Yup, completely new territory for me :) Just be certain to deselect "Use file compression" and "Use External Binary Morph Targets" in the Poser 6 General Preferences before saving the props to the library! OK, will do! Also, don't use any new features such as P5/6 Material nodes - stick with image maps and Poser Surface colors. Don't use AO or IBL/Point lights. All my props will use regular bitmaps for color and bump, nothing fancy. There will be Poser 5/6 sections added to the file and this will raise a dialog in older versions, but they are ignored anyway. :) I compared a P6 file with a P4 one and the P6 file had a lot more information. Good to hear this info is ignored. *Also, make sure to get P3dOExplorer if you need to convert between *.rsr and png. A quick Google found it for me and P3dOExplorer is now installed. If you need a beta-tester, I have Poser 4/PP/5/6 on both Windows and MacOS as well as DAZ|Studio 1.0. I will contact you ;) If you have a beta tester (such as kuroyume here) who has Poser 4, just get them to save a P4 version of the prop. If you're not making use of the advanced material options, that will be the most compatible version. OK, but a P6 prop will still function as expected in earlier versions, right? /Anders

Thread: First product: Practickal Magic (plus previews of upcoming releases) | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
I have a feeling you must be the same Cartesius I've been admiring the work of since the old days of the Delphi Bryce Forum.
Yep, that's probably me :) I started with Bryce maybe 5-6 years ago and is now using Cinema 4D.
I do assume that at least one is rigged with morphs to open?
Sadly no. Initially I will focus on very basic props useable in a wide range of 3D software so the books are all static. I'm planning on releasing a new pack with open books as well but I need to clear some copyright issues first. Eventually I hope to sell enough of these packs to afford Poser and once I have that I will most definitely rig and morph several book sets so they can be opened and pages flipped.

Thank you! I have plenty of ideas for future products and once I can afford Poser I will start producing for that app as well. /Anders
