I bought Carrara a while back and have been waiting for your tutorials to be released on CD before using it to any great extent. Thank goodness' it seems like an age.
Great work Mr. Bremmer.... I appreciate all the time and effort you've had to put into such professional tutorials, can't wait till pay day now ; )
And many thanks for your freebie ones as well.
Cheers

Thread: Too Much Noise | Forum: Vue
Hi Mark,
I've done quite a few HDRI renders and some turned out very well, I'm not sure of the differences between Vue 6 Pro Studio and Vue 6 Infinite, but I could send you some screen shots if that would help.

Thread: Any way to stop painted Ecosystem objects overlapping? | Forum: Vue
Hey Richard,
That's funny, I tried something out the other week and like the look of it generally but I couldn't get some of the bloody things to overlap no matter how much I tried.
I'll be damed if I can remember what I did, other than using a fractal (I think) in the driving mechanism somewhere.
I know that's not much help but at least it can be done ;,)

Thread: Animal Armageddon - Vue in Action | Forum: Vue
Thanks for the heads-up and link, you've done a great job and as said, it's always cool to see Vue in action and I find the whole integration with other progs inspiring and something to aim for. Would be great to see a making-of as suggested by Artur (rutra).
Thread: My first tutorial | Forum: Vue
Many thanks for these Artur, watched them last night and they are wonderfully produced. It's great to see your methods which are very informative and the clarity of both sound and vision are first class.
Look forward to anymore you have time to produce.

Thread: V7 complete - a bug in eco-instance object transformation? | Forum: Vue
I just tried this, and it crashed on convesion to object and is sending a nice message to E-on as I type, infact it's completely locked Vue, so at least you can get further then me ;,0
Thread: Need Laptop Advice | Forum: Vue
No1. Ram is essential up to a point, but 4GB should allow enough detail in Vue, but the CPU will help with your sanity.
Thread: Normal Maps? | Forum: Vue
There has been discussion on this subject here in the forums, you can get free software to convert normal maps to bump or displacement maps on the web, NVidia has some very nice ones.
Thread: soft shadows | Forum: Vue
Hi,
Soft shadows are a balancing act of many different elements of Vue lighting and depends what's in the scene. It should be fairly easy with Vues bread and butter of mother earth, but gets trickier when adding animals, people etc. It is difficult (for me) to help without a reference picture/s.

Thread: Renderocity, what the F@*£ | Forum: Vue
Hi,
Thanks for looking, it's better to be safe than sorry, you hear of all sorts of scams taking place. I can rest at ease now knowing that my $25,000,000 is safe and secure ;,) sorry $25.00 is safe and secure.

Thread: My first tutorial | Forum: Vue
Yep! same resulting message here as well.
Looks like a combination of Screencast, Rendo, youtube or ShareCG.
Thread: My first tutorial | Forum: Vue
I haven't looked at them, but already know I can learn so much from such a master of Vue, many thanks in advance, I'm really looking forward to seeing them.

Thread: How long does it take? | Forum: Vue
Hey Burpee,
I didn't mean those that use Poser, D/S etc. for figures in Vue, otherwise I'd be a hippocrate and I certainly didn't mean you, your gallery is varied and the figures have a reason to be their and it's excellent as well.
I just mean those that throw together a few items, render and produce Ken and Barby on the beach and the finished render is dire and everybody says it's awesome.
We're all guilty of that from time to time, but at least we try and better ourselves and not always nudity.
Cheers

Thread: Asking to keep the Miller family in your prayers. | Forum: Vue
God bless you at this time, I know how difficult it can be to keep smiling for those who need it most around you. My condolences and may the spirit comfort you.
Thread: How long does it take? | Forum: Vue
I entered a competition here a while back and it was reviewed, they had clothes on and it was the first image I did with any showing flesh LoL.
Personally, i'm greatly concerned about Vue becoming the next Poser (things thrown together for a quick fix) only with better scenery and lighting, this would IMHO be a travesty and the Vue community deserve much much more.
