Thread: Imagine lost ? | Forum: Community Center
Hum, I just don't see it at all in the forum list. Usually it is just before lighwave. Maybe there is a need to have a new message to get it visible... I'm gonna post somthing to see that. Sorry for this false information.

Thread: Please add a FormZ section. All 3D users please read. | Forum: Community Center
Don't give up ! We've got about 17 people saying that they are interested in Imagine and now....we got it, an imagine forum and gallery !!!! So, at least you have now an idea of the number of people requested. But those 17 or so people have to "say" that they are interested. Guessing a number, saying that they are thousands of users is not enough. How you gonna attract them, I don't know, probably posting in [other app] gallery and spreading the word will pay on the long term. Good luck, and do not hesitate to chat in the newer Imagine forum ! Richard,

They might just miss your posts. There are many forums here, and I suggest to post in the team contact forum. But you know, for imagine, 16 or 17 people declare to be interested in an Imagine gallery or forum, but still no news from the renderosity administration. We might just be below their quota. How many people exactly do you request to create a special section, Admin ? or it's a long process and the admin want to see people interested only on the long term. However, sometimes I think that a new 3d forum doesn't kill anybody, whatever the number of people posting in it, versus too much chat without any 3d content which, on the long term, would make the really 3d interested people/artists loosing their interest. Hello Hannu The list of people insterested in an imagine gallery is growing fast !. Some of them are in the community improvement forum. I copy the list here: (from the community improvement forum): M3G Clae LarryF HP Slippery Kmanktelow Grumani Dickbill Dhurgan Critterbug (from the team contact forum): ClintH Spinner Jackoland DM LarryF Hannu This is great! I share your opinion about the Imagine community, it looked closed from the inside for a long time, probably because Imagine was self sufficient. But now It's changing. Most Imagine users have other 3d softwares, so there is no more reason for us to stay so Imagine-fanatic. Sometimes I think: what is the interest to have a specific Imagine gallery if you really want to be open minded to other progs ? An [otherapp] or [all gallery] is more than enough. With a specific [imagine gall] you may be tempted to check only the Imagine gallery and ignore the other galleries. You never see the Maya/ligthwave/zbrush etc arts in the [other app] because those softwares already have their own gallery, and those guys probably never or rarely go to the [other app] gallery and they will never see Imagine art. Maybe the best solution would be a global gallery for everybody, but with the name of the applications used in a searchable field. best regards Richard

Hi Kevin About the edit button, I havn't seen any move function. The only way I see to move pictures from one gallery to another one is to delete the picture and to reload it in the new gallery. Anyway, I download a steady 3 pictures a day when possible as many of you I guess. But once it' s downloaded, in the Other App gallery, there is no way to know that it has been done in Imagine unless to click on the picture and unless it is specifically written in the comments by the author. The result: there is no way to know how many "Imagine" related pictures are present in the diverse galleries. Nobody has an idea ? Richard

I do support your request. There is obviously more than enough of space in renderosity to include a formZ forum, proof is the tons of personnal chat, completely 3d unrelated, posted here. I had myself requested an "Imagine" forum and Gallery, along with about a dozens of other users, but we are still waiting for it. People have suggested to post Pictures in the otherapp gallery to show your interest. I did so, 3 pictures a day, every day. You might also try this strategy with formZ. good luck, Richard
Thread: My official request to Renderosity Admistrators to ban Legume | Forum: Community Center
I am sad to see that it's easyer to post completely unrelated 3d subjects, crap mail, rude language, insults and so on, here again with absolutely no content related to the 3d field, than to request a new forum and a new gallery for a 3d software in what is supposed to be a 3d dedicaced forum. yeah, let's talk about french assholes, Imperialist uhmraricun and the wisigoths instead... Hi all, Just a note, It seems that you have a significant amount of completely 3d unrelated posts in this forum. Some posts sounds more like a chat list with rude language than anything else, sometimes. So, I can ask this safely I guess: It seems like there is a general trends to design nude young female bodies and faces, or is it my imagination ? While attracted myself to the design of Beautiful-full lips-healthy-100%-symetrical face, WAP(I dare here),young (under 18?) female, maybe just because...I am a guy. Do you think that the 3D could be the future of porn ? After all the Under18 limit doesn't apply to virtual reality right?, and in addition it produces absolutely perfect bodies and faces, royalties and law free. I cannot imagine a statement in a web site like: "all the 3d virtual polygones and UVmaps in this web site are over 18 of age" it makes no sense right? Do you see what I mean ? BYW, How old is Victoria ? Richard

Hi Dave What's Imagine Constant Upgrage Program (IFW2.1.4) already has that IFW doesn't have: 1)volumetrics fog with shade inside 2)volumetric lights 3)zmesh: take three comletely independant objects, a neck, a torso and a arm, design a part of the neck as fillet.neck, part of the torso as fillet.neck and another part (the lateral part of the torso) as fillet.arm, design a part of the arm (the upper part) as fillet.arm, all the corresponding fillet parts will then be filleted. then can be grouped hierarchically and animated and also, the textures applied to the objects mesh accordingly, they can even be boned I think, but I never tried it. 4) some cosmetic improvement in the graphical interface What 3.0 is supposed to have: 1) a single interface for the the stage and detail editor 2) a full 3d spline, that I am not so sure, nobody talk much about that 3) atmospherics, yes maybe in addition to volumetrics that's all I can see or remember right now, we havn't had any updated informations from Impulse from a while. Some people were upset about that, but what do you gonna do? All I know is that 3.0 is still a project at work. Richard

version 3..... According to ultra secret information (posted in the IML) Impulse want to finish a Mac version before the final release of IFW3.0. Right now, version 2.1.4 has been released, with volumetrics integrated and a special meshing process called zmesh. Organica is nice too, but I don't know about a possible update, it has never been mentioned in the IML list as far as I remember. All of you who use Imagine, do you think it stands well among the other 3d softwares ? Richard
