Who wants to be popular? Â I think just post pictures as a way of showing people what you're up to.
Don't art charts work more like you suggested?  I'm not too sure, since I haven't looked since they were first introduced.

Thread: Well I'm becoming increasingly sold on the auto-thumbnail feature... | Forum: Community Center
I normally post full image thumbs anyways, so now I don't have to bother trying to shirnk it down to 15k. I notice that auto thumbs don't always stick to that limit.  So unless you have good reason to not show a thumb of the whole image (nudity for eg) then I say let rosity do the work.  It is what we pay them for after all.   Oh wait....

Thread: Multiple comments and/or edit comments in gallery | Forum: Community Center
I like the old method ok. if you add a comment to a picture that you've already commentted on, it replaces the original.
Not sure about being able to edit comment. That could be abused. I guess multiple comments would be good for when the artist replies to a comment and the original poster then re-replies.  Obviously that can't count towards the hot20... I mean art chart figures.

That's very cool to be included. Especially since I don't consider myself a great photographer. I'm glad my lucky snap was considered good enough. I'm happy.    A very nice selection of shots and I'm proud to be in such company.

There's always a lot of lurkers around.   Especially with IRC. Since you can be logged in the whole time, there's no reason to ever close the programme down.   Over at rendergods.com we have 19 or so people logged on at the moment, but only 5 or 6 are active at the moment.  people come and go.   Some people change nicknames to show what were doing drawbridgepsleeping or drawbridgepworking. All are welcome if you ever feel like chatting to like minded people.

Thread: Bryce Artist Needed | Forum: Bryce
It's not so much that it's an unpaid job. I've done plenty, or donated plenty of models. I'm happy to do the work for credit and to get my name out there. It's just depressing to get your hopes up that your name will be linked to a project that never actually gets finished.Â
Only a fraction of the projects I've been involved in ever get completed, which means it was totally wasted in terms of benefits, if not money.
But, (slightly on a tangent) I do know of a director that's using a few of my models in an upcoming film starring Ted Raimi, so that's gotta be a good sign.... hasn't it? (Check IMDB and see if you can guess which movie) And no, not Spider-man 3
edit - Jeeze, you have to remember that the forum is now totally separate to rosity and logging out of one doesn't mean you've logged out of the other.

Thanks so much for including one of my pictures.  I really can't feel I can take all the credit. It would have been very hard to take a bad photo of such a wonderful landscape. Well done everyone, a great selection of images.

I'm back. That went well, but then who wouldn't hire me. Now have another interview with a general manager and background checks. Loads of perks which make up for the crap salary. Almost. But hey, it's more money than I'm making now. And will stop me being bored. I guess.

OK, this thread is going in a direction I didn't really imagine. Maybe save that stuff for the Bryce Artist of the Week. :-)

Thread: Are there upper and lower limit restrictions on object resizing? | Forum: Bryce
Too tricky to increase the rest of the scene in size? I don't think the photo element will suffer, since you're moving away from it so it will appear to be the same size anyway? Maybe group the entire scene, resize, move back and place your preset? It works in my head, but can't tell how it would work in Bryce or for that point your scene.

It is a direct link to the MPG file. Strange that it's not working. Seems OK to me, but whatever. Try saving and if it puts HTM ext, then rename once it's downloaded to a MPG.
