Hi Thanks for the feedback. Poser5 is up and running showing the version number you provided so it seems the SR3 installed ok. I have had problems in the past with updates for Poser claiming that Poser wasn't installed. I do have both 4 and 5 installed but neither one is installed in the "default" directory so perhaps that is confusing the update programs. In any case I seem to have SR3 installed. Windows is an event driven system and as such when an application is waiting for something to do, it should "go to sleep" until the Windows OS "tells" it that the user has done something of interest to the application (like clicked on a menu item) or that some other event of interest has occurred. The application then should "wake up" and deal with the event. If an application isn't doing anything "useful" such as responding to user input, printing, rendering, etc it shouldn't be spinning in a loop waiting to do something. This is not necessary under Windows and just wastes CPU time. Regards, Frederick C. Wilt

Thanks for the reply. I have two DAZ CDs, one with Michael, one with Victoria. On my computer the .CR2s are Victoria (2848K), Victoria Map (2849K), Victoria Map Morphs (8501K), Victoria Map2 Morphs (8501K). There are also Vicki (9114K), Vicki Map (9115K), and Vicki Map2 (9115K). Haven't a clue why there are so many. There are also some files in my download directory which have Victoria and Zygote in the name. I did buy some stuff on line in the past. Since there is no Victoria 2 I must have Victoria 1. Had I known about the CP scheme for P5 I wouldn't have upgraded. Tying software to hardware which I may want to change at anytime (drives get bigger and cheaper all the time) is a bad, bad, bad, bad idea. I have a program which uses a very small USB dongle which I plug into the port on my keyword when I need to. The company, for a small additional sum, allowed me to purchase a backup dongle. So I can change computer hardware whenever I wish (good) and I am protected from a single dongle failure (good) but both fail and company is out of business (very bad). Now if there was a way to deal with companies that go out of business (a central repository tools to bypass the CP schemes?) then things wouldn't be too bad. However I don't like CP and I can't imagine I ever will. And as several others have pointed out a new CP scheme attracts crackers like flies to honey. I hope that if CL goes under there is a crack out there somewhere. Regards, Frederick C. Wilt
