Once again at 40%. I've tried it with different browsers, with and without accelerators, all virus software turned off, while staying away from the computer and while doing things on the computer, it fails everytime.

Alright... it just disappeared at 30%. I'm officially pissed off. If it had been in smaller archives I would have had the thing ten times now. 8 hours wasted so far

It just stopped at 89%, I'm trying again. Is there another way to download the file? An ftp transfer, the zip split into smaller zips anything? ....I hate dial-up :(
Thread: Processor Overheating Issues with Poser 5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well I bought new fans and heatsink, processor, motherboard, 512MB DDR Memory, and Hard Drive. The only things that are the same is the old case, which I will be replacing, the CDRW, DVD-Rom & power supply, and the graphics card which I will be replacing as well. Thanks for the help.

Funny you should say that, thats how I was using the old PC before it burned out. I had the side off and just kept going until it finally was so bad off it just died and I replaced everything. The old hard drive died too, so I got a new one of those. By swap file do you mean the Virtual Memory page file or is the swap file something else?

No I have this mobile processor in a desktop, according to the specs and recommendations it works fine in a desktop. However, the old processor was burned out by me overworking it with Poser. I don't want a repeat performance. Do you think more memory and fans will help it out?
Thread: Poser 5 keeps locking up my system!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Locked up my system too. I was running old SDRAM memory 1.5 GB and found out after replacing the whole setup with an Athlon XP2500 512 DDR that Poser5 was still putting a strain on my processor. The safety shut off on my proc. is set at 55 degrees and P5 makes it jump from 38 to 50 degrees just loading a DAZ3D figure fully clothed and textured. After the figures are loaded the temp drops back down but it jumps again when rendering. Burned out my old 1.4GB proc. ATI 8500DV, old K7 motherboard and HD. I rendered one comic around 300 panels at 980 X 570 72dpi and it started to die. Now the replacement is acting up and its definitely poser related.
