I had a similar experience with Godin/Valery3D where stuff disappeared from my wishlist because it was removed from his/her store. I did see some of i show up over at Daz.

No i13/Biglovepose has removed a ton of stuff from her store. It is not up at her store on Daz either.

yes, my textures work like other textures. I do use some tricks on V4 to soften the transitions pupil-iris-sclera and I use bump maps for the iris. take a look at how they are set up in the mat room. Maybe I'll have a look at doing something for FF.I haven't got into SuperFly yet.ย ย Spent a WHILE dealing mostly with my health stuff.ย Getting back UP now, I am using Poser more, again, and have a bit more hardware to install (another 7 USB 3.4 ports and another 6 SATA3 ports and another half dozen 2 TB and 4 TB SSD's!) THEN I got a few terabytes worth of backlogged downloaded content to install. WHEW!ย
I just got your eye sets for P12, will have a good look at them soon.ย ย I MIGHT put together a folder of nothing but salvaged eye textures.ย Works the same as any other texture, right?

Normally I use Cycles for everything including skin. Here is a quick Physical Surface skin you might want to try. You might need to alter roughness and bump amounts. I also use a HSV node plugged in so I can control the skin color a bit.

I'm playing with bump maps in the Physical Surface node. There is definitely "clipping" going on with regard to bump maps. If your bump strengthย is too much it will clip off the peaks like would happen when recording audio too loud into a digital recorder. You have to lower the amount to below a certain threshold before it stops clipping the bump map and darkening the texture.

Yes, if there is too much bump coming from a normal map that will darken the texture. It might also happen with bump maps as well.Oh, I'm sorry, that was physical surface node, I forgot to mention. I still don't really know how to set up cycles.
ย I also had strange things with normal maps for skins... the skin seemed darker somehow.
Ok, but that means I would skip the normal map and use bump. At least I know how that works and I can finetune the outcome with it's value.

I'm on the beta team. Yes, things changed with the render option of "Use Cache" in Superfly. I had the same problems with that and also problems where I changed a camera and it would not update the camera controls for focus. I'd get a blurry render. Not sure what "Use Cache" is good for at this point so I have to have it unchecked so I can work on images.

Normal maps and bump maps serve the same purpose so use one or the other but not both at the same time. Also, Im guessing you are rendering in Cycles? Cycles converts bump maps into normal maps. Some have said there are problems with normal maps in Poser and I would tend to agree because I've had issues with them myself. IIRC you are supposed to set them at a strength of 1.0. This ALWAYS results in way too much bump in the texture. Also keep in mind if you are using PBSDF for your textures that it's roughness is modulated by the bump maps/normal maps. That means the bumpier the map, the rougher/less shiny your object will be.

Thread: Ground Objects gets blurry at preview with distance. P 11 Rro | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
TLDR. Has anyone tried to render out a massively larger render? That might mitigate the perceived blurry far away objects.
Reduction in size in Photoshop would give you clearer reduced size render.

I'm late to the thread. As ChromeStar pointed out my free eye shaders/texture will work if you are rendering in SuperFly.

I think the pre-fitter put some kinks in that hair. Couldn't you just re-size manually with dials?

as far as the nails shader: How about this: Still uses my bump map. Make sure you change the scatter group on the PBSDF or you'll get that green boarder between the nails and the skin.
