I would suggest something to indicate scale, something in the foreground that has recognizable size, like a coconut as mentioned or palm branch, to show that the island is tiny. I'm a geology nut, so I have to say that the volcano wouldn't be new, as it would have had to start at the ocean floor and build up. But the island could be new. Perhaps it's a depiction of Loihi in 50,000 years? (the next Hawaiian island, 900 meters below the surface right now) I like the reflection in the water. It looks fine to mee for a small island. Since it has solid rock already above the surface, it's not BRAND new, so would not really need huge waves. Oceanic volcanic eruptions are relatively mild, so there wouldn't be an accompanying earthquake. Has to to with the type of lava, and relates to why Kilauea has been erupting continuously and peacefully since 1983. The few earth-shaking eruptions in the ocean tend to make older islands smaller, not larger (Krakatoa). Yeah, I'm a nerd LOL

Thanks y'all! I played with it for a good ten hours yesterday, and decided that PINE trees were not the best sort of tree to try it with, the bazillion needles each needing a mask adjustment and all. So I eneded up just painting the suckers. I AM going to try it on a nice maple tree or something, though, just so I can do it. Again, thanks for all your help! I learned a lot just following your suggestions! The finished cover is at the link attached (1/3 actual size).Thread: Stupid newbie question *wince* | Forum: Bryce

Does anyone find it odd that even 'species' from a trans-dimension are humanoid in form? Not if you use worm hole theory or the fold theory to hypothesize that all humanoid species derived from the same common ancestors. However, failing those, you're right. Other lifeforms would evolve totally separately with adaptations to their particular environments, and so would look absolutely nothing like us. ;-)

I searched, too, and couldn't find the porn, dammit! ;-) Bugger! She's very cute, lululee :-) I personally think 3D is a wonderful medium where we can give our characters the proportions the good Lord didn't find necessary to give us in real life. All my females are well-endowed also, but that's largely because I have scant more than mosquito bites in real life. Band-aid bikini! I have friends who look like that naturally, too, though I hate them for it evil grin Good thing AgentKY doesn't rule the world, or every large-chested woman would considered pornographic. rolls eyes GG, the flat President of BBFAV (Big Boobs for all Vickis)

Try deleting just the RSR file associated with the OBJ (in the geometries folder). If that doesn't work, I'd delete the OBJ and RSR and reinstall.
