Thread: Stupid question about textures | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Yes, I considered that, but I feel that its the wrong way to go.. bit if it is what it takes well..
The main reason that I'm struggeling with D|S instead of a "real" 3D app is that I really like to be able to easilly put humans in my 3d environments..

So, how does other people solve it ? make the plane in another application, and then import in D|S ?
What do people use for this stuff ? Hexagon ? Blender ? Maya ?

..I forgot, isnt there any easier way to make a non-square plane than make one and manually scale it ?
..And isn't it possible to do lets say one wall, fix everything with textures and stuff, copy it and paste it somwhere else ? ..This MUST be pÄossible, but I cannot find any function for it.
Thread: Upgraded RAM -- but very little render time improvement | Forum: DAZ|Studio
My experience is that you NEVER is satisfied with rendering times, the first times I rendered pictures I didt it on a 14Mhz 68020, that ws slow, today with 2.4Ghz C2D its still slow.. When the CPU/FPU is getting faster, you always tend to add other things, like resolution or effects, or just complexity.
The scene I rendered yesterday in DS took ~2h, at least thats better than 42h wich I think is the worst I have done yet (many years ago..)
