I really want characters (figures?) for my story --- I never have failed to receive help (because I am respectful and not mean-spirited, maybe). I am certain will get advice --- no one expects work and I'm sure willing to do my work. I get discouraged if I think I'm on the wrong track.

Hey Michelle, After I download Aika3 files from Yamato i get a folder on my desktop with a folder inside named runtime --- inside runtime are three folders: Geometries, libraries, textures. At some point I place these inside my Poser 5 which resides in Applications --- Can you tell me what and where I put what. He calls them A3Fair. The other freebie I downloded called their folder lyR.

Thanks, you are very helpful and I tried what you said and it worked ! I am now trying to convert .obj files to files I can open in any of the programs that broke me to buy viz. photoshop, illustrator, strata cx, fireworks, text edit, note pad, gif maker, flash, --- what's the deal with .obj files --- how can I learn more about converting files back and forth? I really like Poser and want to become agile with it and nimble. Thanks again for your helpfulness.

When I export Poser to Flash (because to publish on the web) I get a crappy cartoon like figure. Surely Poser-to-Flash works better than that --- or else what's the use of exporting to Flash anyway --- I am stuck using all Macintosh software and hardware --- can't afford to start over with .obj system. What do you think I should do other than 'dump this thread and search' ?

I can find no way to export a small and simple Poser animation so that Flash can read it. I tried one .jpg at a time and it works! . Numerous advisors tell me to switch away from Poser. I like Poser --- don't prefer to switch. i tried exporting .dxf files for importing into Strata cx. The dxf files are so big as to choke Strata to overnite one by one acquisitions. There must be a way
