You figure the Poser guys can just create a new button to export an animation in flash. You just click it and bang! There it is! Here's my first little movie. I put it on the splashpage of my site: http://www.maxxworks.com . Thanks for everyone's help and comments.

Thanks for the info and the link to the software. I'm trying my hand at exporting as a Quicktime movie, then importing into Flash or Squeeze. And I'm beginning to think that a nice sketched animation might not look so bad afterall.

How do you add a sphere to a scene? Only kidding. I'm a Bryce newbie and this is all over my head but I spend some time reading all 163 posts. The image of the poser woman standing next to a stone wall floored me. I'll shut up now.

Yes, I applied the 5.1 patch. And since I use downloaded models exclusively, I have no choice but to use what I can get. Sometimes, the only option is an obj. Thanks for the replies.

I also think version 3 is the fastest. I've loaded 4 and have been using it ever since. I've also tried 5 because a friend was stupid enough to buy it even though he's read all of the negative reviews about 5's render time. The only reason I haven't reverted to 3 is simply because I'm too lazy to go through the process. Yes, I realize it will only take minutes to dump 4 and reload 3. My opinion of 5 is that it is way too slow, slower than anything they've released, no matter what you hear or read.

Actually, I was rather beginning to enjoyu some of the replies. A few made sense, a few didn't, like Swade. Pure childish banter. No, I don't have anything on the market. I've never made a movie either. Does that mean I can"t criticize a bad movie? Please.

When I first read the post, it stated that this spider was ready for the market so I was expecting something professional. It wasn't offered as a 'first try' or 'check out what I did', but as a product that was ready for the market. This spider is not ready for any market I know of. If it were a first attempt from a budding artist, then I would have been more receptive and considerate of a newbies feelings. But a product that 'is ready for the market" this is not and deserves no praise. I question who actually bought it.

Not for nothing, but I've also upgraded and I feel just as ripped off when I upgraded to 4. In my opinion, Bryce 3 was Metacreations most successful version. It was fast and simple.
