Speaking as someone who also used to do a rock show on hospital radio (1988-84), the first DT album (When Dream & Day Unite, the only one with the original singer) was a featured album on my show when it first came out.
A few bands I'd add to the list:
Mostly Autumn
Astra
Diagonal
Within Temptation (similar to Nightwish)
Epica (Likewise)
Gong
Ozric Tentacles
Darwin's Radio
Ayreon
Transatlantic (a prog supergroup comprising DT's drummer, Spock's Beard's (former) singer/keyboard player, Marillion's bass player, & Flower Kings' guitarist. Their new album is a double & the 77-minute title track takes up the entire 1st disc!)
There are lots more where those came from, I've been a prog fan for almost 40 years & have around 500 albums (mostly prog, though not all) ;)

Looking good, glad you've got everything back together again. Not sure what the current situation is with the real thing, I haven't been to the museum for a while (it's so far away, after all ;) )/

Check out snopes, most if not all of these (which seem to turn up on eevery forum I belong to at some point) have been debunked there.

Just an update on the real thing; the new boiler was fitted to the chassis last week, but I'm not sure if there's any other new parts needed, or if they can start putting it all back together now.

Since I live in York, & work just a couple of hundred yards from the National Railway Museum, I'd be happy to take any pics you might need, but unfortunately there isn't much to see at the moment, since it's in bits undergoing a full restoration, & isn't likely to be complete before 2010 :(

Civilisation is North Yorkshire, other parts are on the edge (West is over the edge ;) ).

Since I've used my Visa card to buy stuff from Renderotica, I doubt they object to the adult market THAT much!
Btw Sam, (OT) Rotherham can't be ALL bad, it has the Classic Rock Society ;)

Viewed from this side of the Atlantic, a lot of the rules here & at other sites (not all art-related) seem very strange. We do tend to be more relaxed about things over here (odd since the US is probably the world's largest producer of porn...), & I'm sure Sam would (at least partly) agree, being just down t' road ;)

The Material setup is screwed, I had to change the headlight glass to the same settings as the windows because they rendered black otherwise. The bonnet settings might be different to the rest of the bodywork too, I didn't actually check that. I don't know what it is about e-f that makes them think their models need to have so many polys, they could've made that much less render-intensive.

This unrenderable car? ;)
Though if I'd known it was going to take 4 hours to render I might not have bothered (my fault for turning the render settings up I guess)!

I presume so, they usually do, & the readme for SR2 lists all the changes made in the earlier ones.

Just to point out that the latest version of Seatraveler comes in both .3ds & .obj versions (in the same download). Also, it's scaled for Poser figures, so imports into Poser BIG!

Pretty good explanation, but the other thing you need to do (very important) is make the slash part black & everything else white. In a transparency map Poser sees white as opaque, black as transparent, & shades of grey as semi-transparent (the darker the grey, the closer to transparent the result, great for making sheer parts in clothes).

Not sure about SR1, but after installing SR1.1 my P7 shows as 7.01.109. Mine's the PC version though.
