Thanks for all the responses--I figured out the easiest solution was just to paint the nude female texture red in the areas that are under the shorts. that way if any flesh sticks out , it's the same color as the shorts--looking back I see that Quiet Riot suggested that--The transparancy idea is still probably the best, but I have to get these done by friday and it would take a while to figure out that process--something I will eventually do!! Turning off the hips did help a little, but the thigh is still showing through. The thigh goes all the way down to the knee so I'm not able to make it invisible. Thanks for the advice and I welcome any other suggestion you might have. Jay

Thanks for the quick response! I'm using poser 5...As far as the texture shading, I'm refering to the document style--I'm pretty new to poser so I'm kinda just winging the render settings, but I'm rendering with raytracing, smooth polygons, and use texture filtering all checked. Any thoughts?

thanks, but there's a few more problems I've run into. I'm on a MAC and it doesn't seem there is a version of taylor for mac. also I'm using the standard poser 4 character. I've already completed 20% of the nearly 1000 animations that I am doing, and my employer wants smaller breasts. I don't have time to start over with a new character, and I've created props for the character to use which don't attach properly when i switch to the poser 5 character. Any suggestions? thanks. PS I woild be willing to send my generic model to someone and pay them (though I'm limited on cash) if they could adjust it for me. jason
