Quikp51: I'm not too sure about this, but isn't Voodoos Glide-drivers only for use with games? Has he tried to use the OpenGl-drivers when running apps? As I said, I'm not too sure, I havn't used a Voodoo-card in years, and I don't plan to do so either. I'm very satisfied with my Matrox G400 MAX, especially when it comes to using 3D-apps and CAD. I guess I'll switch to a G800 when they are realeased, or some kind of GeForce-card.

AMD. Go for the Athlon if you can afford it. And a good gfx-card if you work alot with MAX.

I've never been to your site before, you got some really nice work there Jim! And the hair is great, thanks for sharing it with us. The hair has always been the biggest problem with Poser, but now things are looking sooooo much brighter =)

It's very photorealistic. I especially like the eyes and the mouth on her, but the rest is great as well. And I think, in this type of pictures, that b/w is the way to go. Great work!

Roshigoth; Yes, the plug does this too, but if you then save your work as a MAX-file, the next time you load it the object won't be smooth anymore.

Import as .obj, it's far more better than .3ds. I guess you use the Habware plugin to import obj-files, otherwise I suggest you get it. Use the scale-option, that way you won't need to resize the object. Don't use the MeshSmooth. Instead, select your object, get into submode, select vertex. Then select all the vertexes (sp?) Scroll down in the menu to the right, select one smoothgroup and voila, this should smooth the object enough to get better results than in poser. Otherwise, redo this again with another smooth-group. Hope this helps you out. =)

Tweak ahead =) The idea is very cool, so I'd really like to see more of it. BTW, is the Prophecy the original title on that movie about the second way in heaven (with Christoffer Walken playing one of the angels)? If so, it had another title here in Sweden, but it's absolutly a must see!

I really like the concept of this! Keep working on it some more. I think there's something missing, it looks empty, maybe something in the background?

I've really come to enjoy a good, single malt whiskey more nowadays, maybe with a dark ale along with it. Hrrrm, oh yes, this wasn't really about my drinking habits now, was it...? Sorry 'bout that =) I don't now, don't think any humans would do any good in this picture. I think it is almost perfect as it is, I like the lighting, the motive and the composition in it. running off to see what's left of the Glamorangie... =)
