I'm using version 1.3 Howard has finally returned from his long weekend and emailed me yesterday. We're still trying to solve the problem, and he has been very patient at anwering all my questions. What a guy! He is providing excellent support of his application. I really appreciate your assisting me with this problem. Until he comes up with a solution, I guess I will do it the way you have suggested. I was hoping for something a little more automated, especially with the number of files I have to fix. It's amazing how lazy we become in the face of technology. :-) Thanks again c1rcle! You've been a great help.

Okay, I just tried it by only changing the texture on 1 part of the clothing item and it still did it. No texture applied and the cr2 showing only open and closed quotes under the texture map. When you say apply it manually, do you mean by opening the CR2 file in notepad and edit the file in this manner??? Juanita

Ahhhhhha!!!! That's it. I did try to apply the textures to all parts at once. I will try it again by applying the textures individually. Thanks c1rcle! Juanita

I recently bought Seamless Factory and I absolutely love it! It's easy to use and not that expensive around $35.00 US.Juanita

Thanks for the suggestion Lovely Lady. As a matter of fact, I did delete the rsr file and that didn't seem to work either. I still can't figure out why keeping the legs attached to the body made a difference, but it did. Weird!

Sorry about asking a question that I was suddenly able to fix. For some reason, it didn't like it when I remapped the legs off the body. Maybe because it's posable. Juanita

If it's anything like your horse blanket, I'm sure it will be awesome! How about a new mane to go with the tail? Juanita

Thanks for the tips Aurelio! I appreciate any info you can supply me with to speed up the process. These 2D images would only be used in the background for the visual effect of a crowd of buffalo foraging on the plains. I don't think they spent much time climbing mountains. :-) Juanita

Thanks AZL! The one mistake I made that tasquah pointed out was the buffalo was squished...LOL! I should have made the square a rectangle instead. Actually, the picture was off of my Hemera Photo Objects CD. Everything on the CDs are on a transparent background. They're great pictures for using in webdesign. I will definitely take a look at your product though. Anything to save time on rendering and file size. Juanita

Thanks for the vote of confidence on the buffalo. Here's the "trick". It's a 2d image texture rendered on a prop square. I didn't have a buffalo model and I was wondering how realistic this would look in a rendered pic.
Thread: Is there some way to control how your library thumbnails are saved? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
For ICE8 and anyone else who wants to know. If you want to have the thumbnail with a dropshadow instead of the square background, this is how I do it. I do a render of the image at 1200 x 1200 Save it as a PSD file and open it in Photoshop or PaintshopPro Select the Alpha channel Duplicate the background layer Delete the original background layer Invert the selection and press delete (background will now be transparent) Resize to 91 x 91 Save it as a PNG with the same name in the same directory as the CR2, PZ2, HR2, etc. Open P3dO and using the absolutely wonderful PNGtoRSR converter, convert your PNG. Hope this helps. Juanita

Thanks for the tips, PeterWahoo! After having had many hard drive failures, viruses, etc., backing up things is always my first priority. My biggest problem is getting rid of things that I backed up years ago. Ya never know when something is going to go missing! Just call me a packrat, which is why I am in desperate need of PBoost. :-) One thing I forgot to mention, I store my textures outside of Poser on my D: drive. Will this create a problem? Juanita
