thanks for the answer and taking the time i would of got back to say thanks sooner its just im away at present . i noticed you said your content is not contrained by the program folder structure so where do you keep your i guress in a my library folder with identical folder structure but where and how do you then get the program to see it can you pick a kinda runtime folder like old poser dont understasnd thier new structure either :) thanks again pal

you guys are not kiddin , any version of vue crashes hidiously and suffers terrible open gl probs for me and always has whilst using nvidia chip based cards regardles of drivers ,i spend an age searching for a compatible set of drivers to use with it but i hate to say it guys but imo there is no such thing, i was trying to run vue 5 infinate on winxp pro with a gforce 128ddr card and it was totally unusable. i must of loaded ten different driver packs and nothing solved it other than admitting defeat and going ati ! since tried to sort out a similar situation for a friend who was running winxp and vue 4 pro on nvidia and it was the same old story ,we tried in vain again with different drivers until i had to admit a second beating and give in ! he now uses an ati card with no props at all as i do myself. just my ten cents !!

right guys ive sorted it and without even running the update patch, all i had to do was to go to options and uncheck the box that said enable background draw thread , seems my card doesnt like it one bit ! thanks for your input though !

thanks guys and no its not a pirate but i apreciate the heads up anyway its a full retail version i bought ,just downloaded the update from the site but i really didnt want to do that after reading about it being a beta patch i like the tried and tested rather than beta patches, strange thing is before i got vue pro i used vue4 standard and it was always fine then i got a new pc the one mentioned above using a gforce4 card and xp instead of my usual setup of win2k and an elsa gladiac and even vue4 standard started messing up from the day i installed it on the xp gforce machine i thought it may be issues with xp but now i got vue pro and this is worse i guess im gonna have to contact e-on directly about it ,it literally crashes constantly every 2 mins in opengl or every 5mins not in opengl ,should of stuck with bryce5 is my thoughts now but vue pro looks sooooo much more realistic and the main reason was that i use lightwave and ozone3d and wanted the intergration vue pro offers ,not much use if i cant get it to run though!
