Not having dealt with Maya yet, it is my understanding that you can upload the OBJ.

So if you dress your peps up, pose them, and then save as an obj, then you can upload to Maya.

So for the girl's girl's bouncing around there is the below item in the market place, not sure if if works, as I have not tried it myself.

As for books look on Amazon they have How to Cheat books that deal with Tools and Techniquest for Character Animation.

And I'm sure someone with more knowledge will jump in here and give you advice also.

I use my wishlist all the time, because I have the kid in the candy store thing happening.

So sorry I do tend to forget that part. I am using Windows 7, Poser Pro 2010, 64 bit.

Sometimes I can get them to almost fit with no poke through, but then part of the shoe is going through the floor, even though I have used drop to floor. 

I really don't get to use poser as much as I would like to, between work and doing assignments for my second masters degree I'm left with little time, oh and plus I have a thirty page story deadline at the end of every eight weeks so that eats up most of my time on the weekends. 

Well maybe one day when I hit the lotto, I'll be able to play all day and never have to owe my time to anyone.

I think I am going to try Phil's shoe converter and see if that will fix my issues with shoes.

There is a tut on using BVH files, just do a search on BVH and it will pop up. Plus there are all kinds of free files that are out on the net for you to grab.

I haven't tried it myself, since I am looking at getting Talk Designer 8, someone told me that it will also work on Poser Pro 2010, which is what I have.

And the folks over at DAZ are no help to those of us view computers like we do our cars, put key in ignition, turn key, put car in D and go.
