If you used the default intstaller, then it will have place the runtime files in your studio files in program files on main HD or where you installed studio, you need to make sure thats where they installed first.   then open studio goto Edit>preferences>content directories>poser content> add then a new search window will open then you got to where the file is located in there and hit open then once you do that hit accept and it should automatically be in content tab,   another suggestion is to make a file with whatever you want to call it and move those files into, and do the same process again.

I have had many intstances where this has happened and even when an item was settup to work in both, or had daz poses or such and they did not work, and contacted the vendor and they just blew me off saying that they have never had the issue and they were not going to worry about it, hence the lazy, I offered to help them figure out why it might not be working correctly or fix the issue, and still got blown off about it, or no response at all, so my point is valid for some vendors , **never said it applied to all vendors here on rosity, ** plus the use of poser's intereface compared to daz is more difficult, I said i have both so i know the differences.  I am not being rude just being honest about issues that i have had

As for the not being tested in Daz, is maily due to the fact the vendor is too LAZY to take the time and effort, or too GREEDY to have some one test it for them in Daz studio,  I am a vendor here mind you a small one, only 2 products, but i made sure my one poser/daz product worked in both, I have p5 and Daz 2.0.  still prefer Daz over poser, but i wanted to have a product usable in both

I currently Run dual core AMD64x2 +4000 brisbanes, 4 gigs of ddr2 ram 4-1gb boards, and dual sli with 2-nvidia msi 8500gt cards, and my studio renders a crapload faster then my old tower which was a p3 800mhz,  so to answe you question yes D|S works well with what you planning on build,  if you runnin at 32 bit system, you can't use more then 4 gigs of ram, I talked to Daz on the phone about this b4 i set up my new computer, they had no idea how the dual video cards work work with DAZ Studio, but first test i did with it, it rendered with dual rendering, meaning it was rendering 2 lines per the normal one with single video card.  hope this was helpful
