Quote - I agree. Every file has it's place but others lurk in the background waiting to be called upon.
Yes,I agree with both of you on that, I think this is the first time that I had to deal with Morph target files; All the other files are clean-cut and I know exactly where the files are, But as you can tell by my threads, This is close to a huge curveball for me; I'll explore it further and I'll keep you informed,Thanks again, Brian(Majikart).

O.K., Before it gets any messier(And I checked my messages and I got a reply from one of it's authors), I'm gonna take all the Serena Hair folders out and start over again; I will digest and try what all of you suggested(And I appreciated Very Much your help and input in this); Victoria_Lee said something about 'Not the Runtime folder but the 'Poser 8' folder that contains it,That If I go one level deeper in to the runtime folder than I'm "Drilling too deep"; Think that would be a good idea??,

Quote - I'm not saying the issue is getting them in. The problem may be using them later....
I have no problem using them later, When I launch Poser 8, Everything's all there, all the other Poser-related stuff with about 4-to-6 folders zipped-up I put in, They're all there in the library; It's just This particular file not only has me scratching My head, It also makes me want to find how I can install the files without doing it manually.

Quote - Hm, waitaminue? Where is the Downloads folder? Is it inside Programs? and you're on Windows 7? You're probably fighting a permissions issue, is my guess.... I wouldn't install any content in the Programs folder if I were on Win 7 (I'm still using XP Pro).
It does ask administrative permission and then I click on 'Continue' (This usually happens when I'm Dragging-n-Dropping files into the folders) and they do go in when I'm doing it manually.

Quote - I own this product, and Selene Hair's zip file is structured properly. All you need to do is unzip to the folder containing your runtime... just as the case with pretty much every Poser product available here.
Tried that, read my second comment, I have to get either Winrar or WinZip but in the meantime I have to find out where these 2 folders go.

Victoria_Lee: In answer to your curiosity, I had Poser 7 in my older PC, Like I've mentioned in earlier forum threads,I had no problem unzipping Poser-related Items into Poser 7, I unzip,Create a path to the runtime folder inside Poser 7(Which is 'Downloads') Press 'OK', Goes in, --Done--; Flash forward to New PC and Poser 8, I unzip the files, Create the path into Poser 8 (Same Folder-Downloads)Press OK, But instead of putting them in like in Poser 7, A window pops up showing how far i've gone and wo'nt go any further, Like a baggage handler at an airport who will take your stuff out of the car but instead of taking it to baggage check-in then to the plane,It's just left there on the curb.......????????.
Now,My old PC had WINRAR, But My new PC only has Windows 7 Professional; Does WINZIP and WINRAR Unzip your files AND install them in the correct folders in Poser 8??
The sooner I can get this resolved, The sooner I can stop dropping files into Poser 8 Piece-by-piece; Anywhos, In the Meantime, MT-SeleneHair goes into Runtime-Libraries-Pose and the SeleneHair_M goes into Runtime-Libraries-Hair ??.

You should have 3 or four choices as to where you want your Main Poser 8 Runtime located.
Also, IMHO, installing poser into your Program files is a bad idea with Vista and Windows 7.
So, In other words, I should steer clear of the program files folders and park it in my Documents folder???, My VUE 7 program is in the documents folder and that's working great.

Quote - The same thing happens to me, all zipped files extracted to Poser 8 actually create their own runtime folder in the Poser 8 Directory, that is what happens to me. Sharen
Is that why it asked Me if I wanted the file I unzipped to be 'Merged' with an existing file like 'Pose' or 'Textures'????

My new PC set-up is Intel i7 with Windows 7 Professional; When I try to unzip the folder into Poser/Download, I'm confronted with stuff like "Do you want to replace this folder with that folder" or "Texture or Pose folder allready exist" as if Poser 8 does'nt know what do or where to put my unzipped files, Like it needs a DAZ3D installer to get it done; Never had this situation with Poser 7.
Thread: Installing Poser 6 into a Window 7 PC | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - If you are trying to install into 'Program Files' folder, you may not have the necesary security administrative authorizations. Make your change in UAC or install Poser 6 into it's own folder on the root drive. XP compatibility to emulate conditions for running the application , not install it.
I made an error mentioning which poser program that I have, It's Poser 7, not 6, does the above advice Still apply???
Also, I was thinking of going ahead and upgrading to Poser 8,Have you heard any criticisom, complaints or any issues enough to rethink upgrading to 8??? Thanks And I want to wish everyone a Happy Prosperous 2010.

Quote - Curious. Didn't someone make hair fits for V4, using Koz hairs, even for kozaburo MK3. Sure like to use MK3 for V4.
Well, What's really fascinating is if you go to Kobamax's store in the Marketplace and look up Mayu for V4, Most of the Mayu models on that page have the Kozaburo 'Bob-Cut hair'.
