Real reason becomes clear:

the figure will not be the default coming with DS, it seems. 

Victoria was not the default Genesis 1, 2, 3, 7 or 8 figure.

Why not just put an Unsubscribe Poser Pulse switch on the Newsletter Subscription page?

When you say you made a change - was that to the unsubscribe options page or to my account specifically?

I think that if you read my post above you will see that I explain that.

Maybe Lola69 has withdrawn it pending an update. If so, I do hope we are notified about the update and what it does.

It would be helpful if the vendor would comment here on his thread.

@jennblake ... is there a time limit on refunds? I really can't do any testing for at least 3 weeks or so and it is already a while since I bought it. I'm encouraged that there seems to be a solution, however.

Update I was contacted last night by lola69. It seems there was another way to use this. There is the Script which does not work with G8 but is the only thing indicated in the description or the documentation. There is also the pane that is added in by the plugin and is not noted down in any literature. I have tested it and confirmed it does work. I have also informed lola69 that the email they have on file with you is bouncing back so they should update that to prevent confusion in the future.

@TheWeezel - I also bought the script but am away on holiday and cannot test it. Would it be possible to add a screenshot to show what you mean by the undocumented pane and what you did to get this to work. I've been following a thread elsewhere with a user pretty upset that the product doesn't work (described as "useless").

I'm a DAZ Studio user and I don't have the $65 but I want this software so I will save for it and hope for a sale or introductory offer when it is ready for DAZ Studio. In the meantime I would like to learn what I can and a dedicated forum would be a good idea.

Could try saving the the _dyn prop as [whatever it was called for a dynamic clothing item] then remove the 2 files from the scene ... load the new saved _dyn prop and select it. If that doesn't make it to show in the plugin, I hope the script writer can help you.

... did you try any other items, very simple items in case the problem is with the garment. ... sometimes closing D/S and opening it again makes things work again ... there was one prop I was trying to have made that just wouldn't take until after a refresh of the program.

Thanks for the tips but, yes, I've tried all you suggest already. I have sent a PM to Lola69 (last Sunday) but so far no reply. I don't hold out much hope though - I gather very few vendors test on the Mac platform even though both Poser and DAZ Studio run on Mac. With DAZ, I can always return the product if it doesn't work but that's not the case here (as far as I know).

I did try it parented and unparented - still no joy. I see in the reviews on the product page that a user named MacSavers has it working with some help from the vendor. I left my own review asking for more information.

Hello, I have bought the plugin and experimented a bit with it, following the pdf tutorial (the biscuits cardigan on G2F). Unfortunately, I'm stuck at the point when it says: "Go to frame 0 and transform your conforming cloth in a prop." If I select Figure --> Rigging, I don't have the "Convert Figure to Prop" option in the cascade menu. I have also tried to contact the vendor via sitemail, but obtained no reply. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I found it under Figure > Rigging but not from the Edit menu in the top menu bar but in the Edit menu in the scene drop-down menu.

I have another issue though - I'm wondering if this scripts works at all with my setup. I have DS 4.9, Mac 64 bit version. I get to the stage where I run the script and have a Prop_dyn in my scene but the Dynamic Clothing plugin (paid-for version) refuses to see it as dynamic cloth. It just does not see any clothing in the scene at all.

Please could you explain why, when using this character with DAZ|Studio (standard settings and shaders, etc.), the skin tone looks more Dark Asian that Light-skinned North European?

I don't have Poser so can't compare but the D|S renders (and previews) look absolutely nothing like the promo images posted here. I did install both zip files as advised in the install instructions.
