I owned Vue and use it most of my time. If you are comparing Vue and Bryce. Vue creates more realistic landscapes. Vue Pro has most pre-set and many good features. But one thing, Vue Pro are expensive..with Mover you will probably ends up paying more. Bryce is a good program but there are still many areas to improve for the performance and features. As for the best value..... Terragen will be the best now mindways
Thread: Vue Professional edition | Forum: Vue
As a user of Vue, I could see and analyze that Vue 4 Pro is simply an integration of Vue 4 + Mover 4 + Ozone into one with some changing in UI, more functions, better render, more control with new Plant editor, better import & export to meet its professional level. If the upgrade cost is expensive and I don't see any difference for people having all the above programs and doubt that it is worth to upgrade. I hope that it is truly an advantage to justified for the upgrade for us as an existing Vue user rather than to 'repackage' Vue 4 to meet its professional status. Hopefully it should something close to a Vue 5 expectation. Ed

Thread: I'm out of inspiration... :( | Forum: Vue
To some people, your gallery is my inspiration everytimes I look at it.....and there are pieces of arts I appreciated and from my eye I see nature and no Vue....and I can feel that nature :) When I saw the natures(scene), I feel like painting that from my own nature with brush (Vue)...That's how I see it you are not running out of inspiration but I think you got to have a peace of mind to feel about that.. :) Ed

Thread: Painting directly on a model... | Forum: Carrara
Hi Kelley Try Z-Brush, and it is a good program for modeling and 3D Painting.. v1.5 is I am not wrong. The price is just right as compared to BodyPaint. BodyPaint is good too when worked with Cinema 4D, good intergration. Ed
Thread: greenworks XFROG free in DIGIT mag ! | Forum: Vue
Ya, Xfrog is great to add to our complete Vue scene where plant control is limited. DIGIT is a quality publication when compares with Computer Arts, at least I find that it gives out freebies and more quality writeup. But it is quite hard to find from any newstand only where certain places few copies are available Rg Ed
Thread: question regarding animation | Forum: Vue
Hi I have tried Bryce and Vue...As for the Bryce 5 I thought the advance motion lab is good for animation work I know the rendering is a bit slow as compared to Vue. Is that the reason why you are buying Vue for?? If you don't might, you may also look at the next door New Mojoworld Generator 2.0 It can produce very good rendering too.. and the price is offer at US$199.00 too Regards Ed
