@structure: wow, this is the first time in YEARS that poser hasn't crushed within an hour ... even with bigger files. Omg .. how can I thank you for this? Thank you so so so much for your help. I'm new to Poser 11 ... I really love how easy it is to drag and drop files for the library and it opens automatically with every launch. Since this is a trial version, how can I get the full version serial key? Can I buy it here on renderosity? or do I have to purchase the whole poser 11 software and download it again and install it again ... sorry, if this seems a stupid question. I just want to do it right this time. with no crashing or errors within the software.

does this help somehow? I'd even buy the full version of Poser 11, but if that keeps crashing down too, than it would be a waste of money :(

@estherau: the crash happens at random. Sometimes when I move with my cursor over the figure or sometimes when I don't do a thing. Poser 11 just closes ... nothing more. just closes ... sooo weird ... I'm really at a loss ...

Hi guys, thank you so so so much for replying. I really appreciate it. Here is one thing: When I open poser 11 (the trial version) it says 64-bit. Does that mean anything? My mac is a mac os 10.13.6 I installed the latest version from here: posersoftware

Here on renderosity I can check the poser-software site and ugrade for 99 dollars to poser 11. There i can click on "check eligibility" and on their site I can paste my serial number. When I do so, it tells me :

Your license key could not be validated because of: Invalid Poser License Key For assistance, please can contact Poser Support.

I legally purchased poser back in 2015, so I'm not sure what to do. I did write to support but of course this might take a while... Some of you mentioned that I could upgrade for free. Where can I find that? Is that an offer from the official site?

Still, it keeps crashing down. Even if I don't do anything... just moving the mouse cursor over the interface and it crashes down... :( :( :( This did happen with Poser 10, but only if I had big files or big cloth simmulation ... but now I can't use neither 10 nor 11 ...

Hey, thanks so much for taking the time to research this. I tried everything and even used the flash uninstall and then re-install... I tried everything, still ... it doesn't show the content library .. same error ... I downloaded the Poser 11 trial for mac, and it works fine. I think this is the solution ... :(

you mean it doesn't matter that I re-installed flash and adobe air, unlocked it on safari, firefox, chrome ... and it still won't work ... but why all of the sudden? It worked fine for years .. and now .... :(

Hi Structure, thanks so much for your quick reply. geek uninstaller and revo are for windows only, there is no mac version. I found something similar: App Cleaner for Mac. It cleaned everything, I re-installed poser, changed my account, typed in the serial key and it installed it. but .. same problem again .. same message:

Hi, it's almost 2020 and the same problems are back .. I'm using poser 10 on a mac. It was doing just fine. one day poser crashed ... (like many times before) and I opened it again and the library was gone ... here is the message I get in my library window:

Poser Content Library cannot be displayed because it requires the Adobe Flash Player. Please click below to install. Get Flash

when I click on "get flash", nothing happens. So I updated everyting manually. For firefox, chrome, safari ... I also installed adobe AIR ... but nothing helps ... and writing to SmithMicro doesn't help either. no answers in weeks... Is there anybody who can help me, please?

I tried everything, deleted flash, poser, re-installed both, for all browsers ... nothing ...

would it help if I upgraded to poser 11? I'd do it, but I'm afraid that it will be for nothing ... that the same problem would accrue again ...
