I read on another site that at this moment dragonflies hatch out!

Another tip: be patient, damsels and dragons mostly return to the same resting spot.

Suffered a few bites last weekend, so when you go bug hunting: dress in long trousers, long socks or boots, t-shirts with long sleeves. Looks a bit silly when the weather's hot, but it protects you!

Glad to be chosen for lwitg!  But I just have one remark: I see it's a photo (Meadow Brown) I uploaded on 26 July, so actually week 30... !
Maybe a chance to put someone else's photo instead of mine, I won't make a problem of it!

Yep it's me... I renewed my avatar last week, the photo was taken by my boyfriend on 22nd July.
Usually hate to see myself on photo, but  thought this one was ok :unsure:

I was born in Dendermonde, lived in Uitbergen, and now since one year living in Berlare, Belgium.
Interesting thread, also great to look up on Google Earth where people are living!
(when you type Berlare, Belgium, you can see all the ponds where I take most of my shots :)

I had this several times, I also wanted to post some photos in the 'simon says...' topics, but it doesn't work either... oh well, i don' t give up, i'll try it again sometime!

Well I guess you've already seen my pets in the gallery... The first one is Jacko, my dog is called Bo (or Beau) and my other bird still has no name :laugh:. Jacko and Bo live at my parents house, but I visit them a couple of times a week.  We found Bo 8 years ago left behind in the fields when he was about 9 weeks old.

I love them very much, also my birds give me a lot of affection, what may seem weird...

Hope to see some more pets here, it's very pleasant to see them!
