Take your pick, my whole store!

Every product had a 360 rotation and now there's a thumb of the main image and the rotation is gone.

I was wondering if maybe I need to upload them all again.

I think RGUS put it very nicely in the subject. lol! I'm not offended in the least and when an artist such as RGUS complains, I for one listen!

I don't buy much content however so I can't agree or disagree with most of what is said but I wanted to point out a few things as a vendor.

The 3D Market has been divided recently way more than it was and it's not always easy to figure out which way to go when creating a product.

I have been a Poser user since Poser 4 and I don't like DS at all (no offense DS users) but it's hard to ignore the G3 figures when the MP is full of content for them and so little for V4.

"By dumping Poser users you've driven away most poser users (as they have though over there at the other store, but there are few older pieces that go on sale every once in awhile) to your other competition who's also running deeper discounts. The tone of the store, and the community forums have changed drastically."

Sadly this is very true. Some of us vendors hoped Renderosity would stay more geared towards Poser & V4 but unfortunately this didn't happen.

Some of the things I read here however don't seem very just such as:

" Most merchants work under the I only make what I am personally interested in philosophy. And it is the customer's fault that sales aren't what they could be..."

I strongly doubt this is the case most of the time. Personally I create what I like because I can give the best by doing so.

I couldn't work on something I didn't like for weeks or more no matter how much customers liked or wanted it.

In any case don't stop complaining, don't stop letting us know what you like and/or don't like please!

I don't answer posts very often but I do always read them because your input is very important and necessary.

I work in Poser 7 even if the clothing is for a P9+ figure.

I have from P4 all the way to Pro 2014.

I have  P7 - Pro 2010 - 2012 - 2014 installed.

I make Promos in Pro2010 unless I'm using a 9+ figure.

Sorel is doing a lot of testing and experimenting so in the future we will be sure not to have the same problem.

Thank you very much nruddock, you have been extremely helpful. It is the morphs. Sorel will go by elimination to see exactly which ones are causing the problems.

I would have never expected morphs to create a problem for P5,

The figures are clothing:bra and panty. You can see them here

The clothing works perfectly in P6 - P7, renders fast and uploads fast ... but when uploading either figure into the scene in P5 one sees nothing and P5 crashes.

It doesn't make much sense and we don't really know what to start looking for to fix this so any help or ideas sure would be appreciated.

-My only point is really that potential customers need to be able to see what they're buying - if vendors (and renderosity!) are going to ask people to part with their cash, they really have to let people see the product first. This just strikes me as self evident.-

-In fact, there's even one quite recent texture/character set that only includes shots of the second skin textures and not the main texture itself - it might well be a nice set, but there's simply no way to tell from the promos. -

Keep in mind that vendors have to apply certain rules while making the promos. An example that may apply to what you said above is an under age character package. Nudity cannot be shown anywhere in the promos unlike for adult character packages.:)
