I'm not sure this will work because you are starting with a cloth plane, but I suggest using the "constrained" menue in the cloth room to weld cloth points to a "curain" rod and the shrink the curtain rod so that it is shorter at the end of the simulation.

I’m not sure how you see “Newest”, but I can’t see images in my main gallery I posted on March 12th and 13th, but they show up in the appropriate albums.
I’m not sure I see them in the appropriate genre either…
Thread: New Gallery posting glitch? | Forum: Community Center
Images that I posted on the 12th and 13th do not show up in my gallery but do show up in the albums I selected to put them in. I do not believe they show up in the genera galleries either.
If there’s a delay, it is probably more than 24 hours…

Thread: Convert .max file into .3ds or .obj or... | Forum: 3D Modeling
alexcoppo posted at 4:20 AM Fri, 9 November 2007 - #3109823
That's funny, the first code I ever wrote to do graphics was built around PD graphics library, my parser just let the user feed it a file of commands and arguments that essentially corresponded to the functions in the graphics library.I have read that the .max format is in fact the list of the commands for 3DMax to create the mesh so it is absolutely bound to the program. It is a pity because many times i saw interesting meshes saved in .max format (it escapes me why save a mesh in a totally proprietary format and not, for example, save it also in a standard one like 3ds or obj....)
Bye!!!
Thread: Poser 12 not remembering .obj paths. | Forum: Poser 12
It was a little strange; Poser dropped me into a folder that contained the correct object, the case wasn’t the same is all. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if I had two cooiesmof somemtjings, in the Curious Lab days I would reinstall each purchased resource into each new version of Poser…

I only upgrade occasionally, the time I have to create images is pretty limiited. The last few upgrades I did required me to go rediscover all my runtimes (I’ve been a user since Poser 2), hence my reluctance.
Random phone homes that have the potential to disrupt the user’s work flow are not a good thing. Vendors shouldn’t expect users to keep connected to the internet in these days of ransomware, etc,
I generally connect when I start Poser ( and Vue ) but disconnect after that. I think it’s reasonable for a program to check during start up.
Thread: What's included in the Poser 12 content package? | Forum: Poser 12
I recently discovered a number of scene files in the content provided with Poser 11,5 and Poser 12.: I used some of them to create these images:

Thank you very much for that response; it’s possible that I stumbled on this before but forgot about it....

Thread: Does VUE ignore Poser Animations with Graph Editor input or something?? | Forum: Vue
Thank you very much for this advice, while I was able to previously import individual frames (I hardly use animations these days), I couldn't get animations to work until I implemented your suggestion. I also clicked on the "Reposition in Poser" option and opened the Vue animation timeline before doing the import.
Kudos!
Thread: Is Vue good for Architecture? | Forum: Vue
I'd say that Vue is primarily useful as a renderer. While I have created models within it, I would say this is not its primary function, because its modeling methodology is to assemble objects from primitives, boolean operations on primitives, and merging of primitives into meta objects. For my modeling needs I primarily use Blender, which lets me play with sheets of polygons and subsurface approximations, but I my feeling is that it is not the sort of program one would want to create architectual models. Don't get me wrong, Vue and Blender can be used to create quite complicated models, but I think that architectural modeling needs are very specific and it would be a struggle to meet those needs with Vue or Blender.
Anyway, modern architectural firms already employ cad software that meets their needs, nobody is drawing lines on paper anymore or making blueprints except out of nostolgia, though I suspect that Vue is a better renderer than the standard architectural cad package. If the cad software can dump models in a format that Vue can support, that's a starting point for sure. In my own "work" (I do this as a hobby), I import .obj format objects from Blender and Poser (when Vue doesn't support the particular version of Poser I happen to be using). Usually I have to do something about textures and that is the bulk of the work of the import process.
The latest versions of Vue have several price points, the lowest cost versions allow you to select modules for the functions that you want and it seems to me this is the way you would want to go unless you are wealthy enough to afford the top of the line (which primarily adds workflow integration with other professional grade software). For myself, I've given up on the Infinite version (which ceased being Infinite years ago) and moved to the "Complete" version which contains all the modules I need. Even then I don't upgrade on a yearly basis and during each upgrade I need to reconsider what I really need in the way of features.
Thread: Possible Poser 10/PP2014 Bugs - Post here so they are seen | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The issue I noticed previously has been addressed by the latest release; the problem was apparently with Poser and not the figure.
