Subject: Vue 5 install says it my Vue 4 serial number is invalid.

Vue 5 install says it my Vue 4 serial number is invalid, and won't start. Any ideas? Is it case? do I leave off Vue4 at begining???

Are you sure it is the Vue 4 serial number ? I know Vue 5 installation is a little peculiar. You have a serial number in the box - that is the number for your software. It starts with VUE****** But there is also a unique serial number visible only for the installation process. This one starts with INST******.

Nah, that wasn't it! The problem was I was using hyphen "-" on the keyboard instead of minus "-" on the keypad.

Now what would cause someone to program like that is an open question!
