Hi,
I thinking about Poser 8.
Do anybody know, if I save in Poser Animation sets (I work very often with partial posings), can I save this to different Figures know??
In Poser 7 it is only the figure, which is selected when saving the Scene, where the animation sets are saved to. This makes it hard to work with partial savings and more than one figure in the scene!!
Maybe somebody has already Poser 8 and could test this, please.
I can give some instructions, if there is a problem in testing.
And is it possible to control with the "dependent paramters" from one figure to an other figure dials, rotation, trans - parameters???
I mean, normally the body morph and parameters is skilled to each figure.
Only with python I can controll between figures or that one figure controll the next (I don't mean parenting here).
I have asked both also SmithMicro, but I think a usergroup is more familar to all this features.
Thank you very much for any help here.
Best wishes and good rendering,
roger

Thank's for the fast answer.
If I want to save only parts of the figure or some speical props.
How can I do this, if I want to save it serval times.
Do you have any idea for this?
And I have sometimes more than one figure in the scene.
Is here any function in Poser 6, which can help me.
Maybe a python script or so?

Thank you for your ideas.
I asked also philc and maybe there is an solution in my way, but only maybe.
I heard, that the conforming prozess is made in poser intern, not in .cr2.
If I have an example, that is funcitonable I will tell it to you.

Oh thank's for the info.
If I now want to make an simple walk ani - I musn't save (do!!) a hip-movment, or??
If the ani is maybe struggel and rolling up to the site, I have to save the hip-movment.
-The same thing is, if the person stand before an chair. The person stand by 0/0, but the chair not. Then I make the ani for sitting,ok!
-If I now want to make a ani sitting on the chair and trun around to side and stand up, I have to put the chair in 0/0 and start now this ani,or?
Have I understand this right?

Hello, thank's for the info. Has poser an saving function for my python-script-list? If I close the script window and reopen it, there are only the standard-scripts inside? I have to reload my PRPC.py o.e. manuel and start it. There must be a saving function for the python-script-register, or? -roger
Thread: Convert Conform to dynmaic cltohing - question?! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello again, sure I can explain to you: 0.)I want to create a simulation where the model rip of the clothes. That's possible with 'cheogrpahed groups'. -I work with a swimsuit with two constrained-groups around the hip and over the shoulders and one choerographed-group at the decoltee. 1.)In Frame 1 the model stand with the drapped swimsuit (o.e.) In Frame 5 (before the simulation) I bend the swimsuit about 20 to front and transform it z-axis about 0,1 cm. (This makes the choreogrpahed-group to change its position -like in the towl-tutorial at frontier, where you transform and twist the 'hard'-Plate around the model). 2.)Now I play the simulation and the swimsuit seems to be rip of on the front away from the breasts. 3.)If I now swap this swimsuit in Frame 5 to an morphtraget the computer don't save the bending and transform, only the morph. So if I use the created morph on the original swimsuit (by bending 0 and z-trans 0) it fall back behind the figure (exactly 19). But I want, that the swimsuit stand and only the front of its goes out! The problem is, for the simulation of an cheographed-group I must transform and bend the swimsuit manuelly. Is there an other way to get the correct simulation? -I hope you could follow me so far :) -roger-

Hello, thank's for your tips. Do anyone know, if it is possible to launch the pythonscript for Loading Poserfiles with P3DO o.e. at the start of Poser. Now I must start it manual with every start of Poser. That's a little bit uncomfortable. -roger

Hello again, I have tried with the Weld-cecked and it function well. Thank's a lot!! Now I have a other litterle problem - em: If I make out of an dynamic simulated cloth an morph target for my prop, the transform-information will be lost. Is there a possibility to make a morph which include this information, as it were an dynamic-parameter?? Maybe somebody know something about that problem? -roger

Thank's for the fast reply. A screenshot is only possible from a other PC. But I try to send it soon as possible. I export the piece as .obj with weld-checked; the others unchecked. Then I reimport with standard checks in 100%. This object I save in poser as props, that's all. If I work with (for ex. the "kimono") nothing unforeseen happens. -Roger P.s.: The other of your tutorials help me more by the work with dynmaic props. Even the cheographed groups function right and proper

Hello, I have loaded down P3do and linked it sucessfully to poser. Is it possible to open direct with a doubleclick on the tuhmbs the files (f.e. .pz2 or props) into poser. (Now I must right-click and chose "Send to poser"). Maybe I must change something in Windows, but what's it? Thank's for any help, Roger

Hello, thank's a lot for the tips. I never heard of props who have an "undress"-Morph in it. Is there something (also for an t-shirt o.e.) on market? And was is mean with "clothify the straps"? That's relate a dynamic cloth, or? If I make out of the conform cloth a props with some morphs in animor o.e., it should do a good job. But I think, it it necessary to make an props, because a confromed cloth isn't fpr undress use, or? The way with the quill signature sounds not so easy for me. I prefer to work with 3D-objects, but it is surly an professional trick for making animted sequences in film-production.

Thank's a lot fpr all the tips. The valke-set and the greek-kit are looking very interesting. Do somebody now, how it's possible to undress in a picture a figure from the comform-shoes? Is the only way to make a prop out of it and undress it in several frames. I want to make a scene, where the figure undress the sandals slowly! Thank's for any help, Roger

Thank's for the tip. The sandals are quiete good, but I'm looking for more "flater" ribbons, like the roma soldiers worn it. Best regards, roger
