A lot of what you're referring to is done thru post work in things like Photoshop. It's not just a matter of lighting, etc.

Only furthers my initial question then, if a male or female texture set looks so plastic, artificial or washed out when rendered under the best of lighting conditions, doesn't it seem a bit questionable to not have the promo state the image has been enhanced rather than allowing the potential buyer to thinks it's a base render. For that matter why is it approved for sale in the first place as that would seem to impact the sites reputation as a whole?

But despite (the usual as of late) attempt to muddy the topic by deflecting the question (and almost insultingly assuming that someone who has used both Daz and poser daily for over a decade can't distinguish a processed image from a unaltered render) it still remains.

Why have vendors largely moved away from including the lights used for the promos in the download as so many used to do?

That video doesn't address the issue the OP has in the slightest.

I recently bought an HP OMEN 870-290 for the sole purpose of rendering in Daz, so far it's preformed flawlessly. Whatever you buy or have built make sure you go with an Nvidia card as those seem to work best with lray.

There is not ONE set of hand poses on the first page of returns. Now exactly how in your opinion is that working as intended. As for my tone, as a paying customer on both my and my wifes account I've been dealing with this jumbled mess for years now, you and the rest of the staff have known of the overall dissatisfaction the community at large has for the current layout and have done NOTHING to improve customer service. Just parroting "We're working out it" as was the reply to a similar thread just last week has become the standard cop out around here. Don't like my money I'll happily spend it elsewhere. Because vendors actually ASK us to put item in clearance..OR they were there for a long time now. We haven't been deleting them out of clearance either.

Maybe they ask you to put them in clearance in the hopes they will actually be seen since the search function hasn't been worth a tinker's damn since the site redesign.

To whomever had design input to the new site format....... you are Seriously out of touch with customers needs and wants. I've seen membership at 3 other galley/3d shop web site almost quadruple since your changes and almost all say the new layout had driven them away from here. Used to love this place, was my absolute favorite hangout but now I cannot stand to even try to navigate it. See you around rendo.... it was fun till you borked it all up.

Thanks for all the replies... willderue at daz clued me in that I needed to applie the clothes before morphing the clothing and it works that way.

Yeah tried that as well. Never had this problem before, even unparented the dress and the body morph dials still don't alter the clothing. Only thing I can think of is that I had the V4 versions previously installed and perhaps it somehow locked out the V3 PMB's. May uninstall the V4 and reinstalling the V3 versions might do the trick. I never use V4 anymore anyway much prefering good old V3.

A more realistic bunny can be found here...http://www.capsces.com/capframe.htm needs a texture but the model is very nice.

There's a free easter rabbit here, I hav'nt tried it myself so can't vouch for the realism (alas no preveiw pics).
