Bforartists (Blender for artists) is a free Blender fork that has a more "normal" interface. Buttons instead of just keyboard shortcuts. I haven't messed with it much as I'm not doing much modeling right now, and when I do I use Lightwave 2018 or Rhino2.

Freazypose looks like something I need. I haven't been able to get EasyPose Underground right on the new computer I got this summer.

Here's a page from a mini-comic I drew for a friend recently. Instead of doing pencils I rendered each panel in Poser, assembled the page in Photoshop, and then did full inks and tones in Manga Studio.
Thread: Problem with P11.1 Update ... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Same problem, only it also happens when I try to manually install Paul 2 & Pauline 2 from the download folder. I'm wondering if not having Poser on my "C" drive is part of the problem.

Here's a page from issue 8 of my comic, Displacements:Oasis. I render in Vue, then use Photoshop and Manga Studio to toon things a bit.
Thread: What will Vue 12 Infinite Have? | Forum: Vue
I've skipped 11 thinking I'd probably get 12, but 10 C is working pretty good for my needs right now. 12 will have to have something pretty amazing to get my money.

A friend posted this one on Facebook. It's a tech demo, not a product yet, but looks interesting.
Thread: Online comic ready for liftoff | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
rokket - yeah, the pages are not optimized for the web and are kind of hard to read. I planning to get it printed, that affects page and font size. Maybe having a hard to read web version will get people to order the 'real' version?
Do use as many different Poser figures as you can, they help give variety to your characters.
estherau - Thanks for the heads up on the City Engine usage rights thing, I missed that. I did get a road network done, that's the main thing I wanted.
Also, I combine renders and drawing, trying to get my own unique look. I couldn't do it without Poser and Vue.

You've got a pretty good start here, rokket. Building props and clothing from scratch is a lot of work, I do it some too for the same reasons you posted. I currently need a full custom small city. Just downloaded the 30 day trial of City Engine, I hope that's enough time to get it made.Anyway, reading this thread yesterday inspired me to get a new website up and running. The old one got deleted when my ISP stopped providing free web space. I render in Vue like estheru and do a whole lot of post work in Photoshop and Manga Studio.

Happy Thanksgiving! I've developed a fondness for gibblet gravy, though we usually don't have it :-(

I just installed SR3 and did a quick FBM for M4 with GoZ. So easy, so fun! I think I'm going to like this!!
Thanks or this wonderful update!

Here's page from my most resent comic work. I render in Vue, though. I do lots of voodoo to the renders in Photoshop to finish the art and turn it into a comic page. I use Illustrator to letter.

Thread: DAZ to make a "game-changing" announcement | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I bought ZBrush about ten years ago (from DAZ) for 3 or 4 hundred dollars, can't remember exactly. I've gotten every update since for free. Best deal on any 3D software ever!
