Thread: I'm looking for an elf morph | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
These are all great elf morphs but I'm looking for the specific face. It seems that the popular elven face is very angular but Thranduil has a very smooth and somewhat flat face.
I suppose the main feature of the face are the eyebrows.

How about this one? https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/hfs-great-dragon-for-subdragon/94937 Check daz for subdragon for the free base. There's some extra hair there to make it more eastern.

Here ya go Spookie Okay. I've made a Pose, Face and Camera files. Just copy and paste that link and extract that in your Poser runtime. Apply all three and do some minor adjustments to your liking I'd give you a direct link, but I would be violating the current TOS. Sorry for the minor inconvenience.

Have fun JV
Just beautiful! Thank you JV, it's really lovely!

I've been playing with ezskin for snarly's render challenge. I'm getting used to the grainy renders but I'm still trying to find postwork ways to get rid of them, so any tips are more than welcome :) Here's my renders.

I'm glad you like them :) They are already png with transparency so you can just save them. If they don't work I can send them to you by mail. Let me know if you need anything changed :)

That render looks great! Though I think maybe the OP wants the reaching arm to be a bit lower -- unless she's reaching out to a very big wolf. Otherwise, I think it's awesome. Dynamic cloth is definitely a plus here!
Thanks :) I made one with the arm lower, I missed the whole wolf thing.
Anyway, I think this is a great idea for a thread: Render Requests.
We get so many requests for models that would take months, if not longer, to create. But renders can be done sometimes in less than an hour. And very specific requests like this one are challenging, but fun, too. I'd certainly be willing to take on projects like this, when I can't think of what to render (which is frequently the case). I used to post "stock" renders on DeviantArt, and it was great to see what the photo manipulating artists would make of them. :)
That's a very good idea! Perhaps one of us should start a thread offering this kind of help. I'd love to help out if I can :)

Really nice! I have an obsession with this kind of material setups so I really appreciate you sharing it :)

Oops, sorry for never responding! For some reason I didn't get the notification. I like that effect but I'm not sure how to replicate it. Unfortunately, I was not able to get in-scene sunbeams in Poser for this image. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm following the tutorials step-by-step, replicating everything exactly, and it just isn't working for me (even after I tried it with a fresh scene). So this time around, I just ended up postworking them in. End result: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/?image_id=2659412
I'm perfectly happy with how it looks, although just on principle I'd really like to be able to do it within Poser next time!
I wish I remembered were I found this method. You just make two cones one inside of the other. Make a cone, place it where your sunbeam should be and then duplicate and enlarge it. Now use the first material in the small cone and the second in the larger one. You can play with the ambient value and colors. Apparently I have no idea how to post mt5's so here's the screenshots.

Here's the setup I used for the first one
And this is the second one
Just add these nodes to your existing skin setup. You can change the color and the ambient value to whatever you want.
I'm sure there are much better ways to do this and I hear the new poser has a layering function that would make these obsolete.

Here's one in a low light setting. You can see the light from the stencil on the cube.
Not optimal but it does the work. I wish BB was here :(

You can always go for the tattoo option and just plug it in the ambient color.
You obviously need a better mask than the one I have here but the setup is pretty easy :)
