Subject: Dwarfs hat

Hey guys,

I've been working on a dwarfs picture and I'm trying to make two hats for them using the poser cloth room. I haven't had any luck yet, does anyone have any pointers on how to make it work?

I start with a cone and parent it to the head but all of my efforts end up flat.

I really need them so any help would be appreciated :)

These things are called "Phrygian Caps".

There is an upload at ShareCG by Rosemayr for M4 & V4 and the Poser cloth room.

Thank you Ometeotl, these will work great. I've never heard of the term  Phrygian Cap, I was looking for gnome  and Santa hats :)

I'd still like to know if I can make one myself though, It would be interesting to learn some method for future projects.

For doing it yourself, my suggestion would be put a sphere in the cone and let that help support and move the hat as you drape it. I'm not sure it would work, but it's where I'd start.

Sorry for the late response but I never got a notification on any of my threads :(

Your idea is actually excellent, I didn't think of that. I'll try it in the morning, many thanks :)
