I agree with you totally. It's like sending him to the sharks, hehe. Very sensitive of your part. I didn't think about the link he provided and other info. A better guidence was in order.

I have no complains about buying in TurboSquid, but it depends of what you need as a buyer.
The first item I bought there was the Kain character for Michael and I think it was pretty cool.
Since then I have bought many things there, but all of them were job-related (I recovered the investment).
But you have to be careful: Some time ago they were selling a wall (6 polys) in about 5-10 dlls.
And a guy was selling an item and I bought it just to find out it was a fraud. They were very kind and returned the money and contacted the original creators in order to get me a discount. But I was very nervous for a couple of days.
There are some things you can't find anywhere else. But the same can be said about Renderosity, Daz, Poserworld, etc. It depends of your needings.
That's my opinion as a consumer.
PS Rigging a character is hell.
Thread: Exporting Poser 5 hair, who's going to import it? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I noticed the only "3d splines" imported in cinema are those in dxf format exported by the same program, don't know the difference between the dxf of poser and the one of cinema. but maybe you could find a way of "convering" them. just an idea.

I think the morphloader plugin is aviable in the free stuff section of cinema here in renderosity, don't know if the link still works. I made the tutorial a long time ago, and didn't know the link was down, sorry. Please make a plugin!! for cinema? please? it would be great!!! I'm waiting for the bodystudio version for cinema (host the hair instead of importing it would be better I think), but in the meantime it would be very useful :)

Ohh, it's the same Stewer. Thank you for that great plugin. I suspected this was an expert writing.

Great image eferrier!!! I agree with you completely. I do all my renders in cinema, but love poser aswell. You have Poser 5 and don't have the money for C4D?, you really don't have to worry, firefly is a great render engine (If quality renders is what you're looking for, that is, both programs are far more than that). Funny, I've seen some poser "haters" in the C4D gallery, but this is the first time I see a thread like this one. Havent seen any hate so far (in fact the arguments are more rational), but it seems like if the Poser users are fighting back. Cool!! Poser deserves more respect! sorry for my bad english.

Hehe, between you and me, I see my work as art, despite what my less sophysticated clients may think ;) Sergio

Ooops, "Recreational" means for my personal joy (the first thing I'm defending and I call it recreational, sorry :P). I don't consider myself an artist, I'm a graphic designer.

I agree with you, and I think there's some real art made with Poser models. Not every image posted has to be considered art, but that's a whole different discussion. But that guy made a fraud, and it's this kind of cases that hurts very deeply the Poser comunity. Some months ago I participated in a 3D contest and something very similar hapened there (http://deathfall.com/feature.php?op=showcontent&id=24). The winner used Poser models and never mentioned it. I was very angry because it was unfair, because I did the whole modeling in my entry. I love Poser, and use it a lot in my work and for some "recreational" images, but I really hated the program in that moment. Just a natural human reaction that I corrected later. The artist who uses Poser doesn't have to prove anything to nobody, but those who try to fool people around aren't only destroying their reputation, they make other people say: "aw no, it's ONLY Poser" and that affects a lot of genuine artist.
