Hi, Ameister: Thanks and yup, I get what you mean. Though where she is now, she's heading towards the closet for more clothes, (which is out of the shot.) I could angle her more towards the actual door, which is behind the camera. I'll think about it. :) Wired Spirit: thanks. I've since gone back into the pic and fixed the lighting problem. And thanks be praised I hadn't moved it to my back up drive which failed on me this weekend. Lost all my bryce and poser files I'd moved to the finished zip file :( Sha

Hi, ScottK: Can't help being so self-critical, but I do try not to be and thanks. Yes the windows are boolans, just simple stretched cubes negatived with the walls. the furniture was all found at the fun stuff page, bar the curtains which I can't remember where. I'm not that good at boolans. I'm hoping give me time :) The lights I did, and will again. The far light did seem to suddenly get bright again. As for more stuff, I'd love too but I think my comp would fall over and die if I added anythign else to it. Took ages to load and change stuff, not render though. And thanks for the terrian idea, will see if I can get it right :) rtmecon: thanks. the bed posts are wood, though just a simple preset from inside bryce. as for the curtains on the bed and windows, thats hte oil slick. spent an age trying to find the right look, but couldn't so settled for that. Will keep trying though :) Sha (who isn't biting her nails so much now :)
Thread: Bryce 3D problems texturing Poser 3 models... image attached | Forum: Bryce
Rotating it doens't work on DXF models, tried that and got the same thing. Tried it without rotating it, same thing. If you actually look at the way a dxf model is exported, even with body parts seperate, it only does so many different parts. Some that should be seperate aren't, when compaired to the wavefront obj format, which exports every part seperate. I'm assuming here that is why it doesnt' work with the dxf format. My test case for this was I exported a model as a dxf format, followed a tutorial I found on how to do it, didnt' work. Went back, exported teh exact same model as a obj format, followed the instructions again, and it worked. I looked at the two formats and saw that there wasn't as many parts to the model in the dxf format compaired to the obj format. I could be way off base, but this is what I personally found when learning how to have a model with the textures from poser.

Hi, this is the same thing I got when I used a dxf file instead of a obj file. Rotating the bmp file, doesn't effect it all that much I've found. The fix is ofcourse to export the poser figure as a .obj file.
