Thread: Making V4 clothing fit after applying character morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the replies, and the link to the DAZ instructions. One question regarding this:
"...First parent the BODY of the clothing item to the BODY of the intended target figure, and then copy the pose from the figure to the clothing item...."
How does one "copy a pose?"Â Do they mean apply the same pose to the clothing (figure)?
I tried the magnetize with "Helena" using these instructions--same result, no fit. Genesis V4 works just fine however, so it must be something specific with Helena.
When I get (and have more time) I'll try some of jonthecelt's suggestions.
Thanks again.

Quote - Somewhere in your V4 pose files you should find a folder called "magnetize clothing" and inside that folder you will find a "magnetize to V4" file : select the clothing, click the file and your clothing should fit. Use the other, numbered files if you have more V4's in your scene.
Â
I should have mentioned that I've tried the magnetize poses. My testing process for those is as follows:
The magnetize pose doesn't seem to do anything at all. :(Â Â (I'm using the un-numbered pose since I only have the single V4 in the scene.)Â I've also tried conforming the top before and after Helena, and morphing V4 before loading the top.
Thanks.

Simple thumbnail generation script. Renders all Poser files in a given dir (and subdirs). Uploaded to Underdog's script repository (see link). If someone is inclined to show me how to properly work with TKInter, I'll add an appropriate front-end for the script. (Can't quite get the hang of creation/destruction.) Enjoy. -SteveThread: Looking for Religious Clothing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Sorry, I've been tied up with other stuff. I'll finish the script and get it uploaded ASAP. -Steve

Yeah, that's what I thought. There's only a few, but when batch rendering it was a pain. Thanks for the reply! Incidently, I wrote a batch renderer script because I didn't see anything like it (not counting batchgen)--that is, a script to recurse through a directory structure rendering samples for each Poser file found. I've found that I don't always save WIP under a suitable name or in a suitable location and often forget about projects I was playing with. The script helped me remember what that "untitled1.pz3" file (and the like) contained. :) Does such a script (batch rendering, again not as complex/full-blown as batchgen) exist and I just missed it, or would making my script available be of use to others? -Steve
