Well, if they don't have the guts, disclose them direct in this forum!
That'll teach the idiots how versatile the internet really is.

Cancels in P6 work about 97% of the time.
P7? Good luck canceling without Poser quitting.
As far I can see, prerender separate saves are always the best solutions.

Thread: VISTA and POSER is a NO DEAL ...... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
STALKER does NOT work nicely with Vista. Just one game that they forgot to really patch.
The gamespot review says some stuff about bugs.
But other than that, EVERY 3D APP I use works fine. That goes from Autocad to Zbrush. 3ds MAX 9 with the productivity suite runs like a charm.

Thread: Doing PostWork on Unsmooth shoulders of a poser character. how?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Even after smoothing polygons, it's not rather round yet.
I make a smooth outline of what's supposed to be a shoulder, merge down into my image, lock transparency and clone. It provides more control this way (sharper textures too) and you won't overshot smearing.

Thread: Poser renders used as covers for commercial ebooks | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have to say that I really do not agree with the attitude of being sloppy when your customer's paying less. It seems to make you unprofessional (no offense) when purpoted killing of vision and quality gets in the way.
I convince them to pay more beforehand, or size down my stuff (you want usable in high-res? Pay more please.). It's still high-quality and can easily beat the $10ers down the streets (partly because I don't make them using Poser :D) and they might even sell more!
If your work sells, you don't need to even approach these hard to please markets.
(I've done rather impressive stuff for my classmates for free. Spec job bloodsuckers.)

Thread: Poser renders used as covers for commercial ebooks | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, it works. Yay for spartan. :p Dangling breasts would triple the sales. ;p
Again, even the work is sloppy, would readers of an ebook would flip through it ONCE. The only time where the cover applies would be point of purchase. Would most authors care? And why would they pick poser artists when there's general illustrators around (just a rhetoric question, no offense at all) that can do "must-buy" work for a larger sum (read below).
We'll leave it to Poser 10+ and Victoria 7/ APM 2014 to be the cover of Ballistic Production's EXOTIQUE series (real hardcover books) though.
p/s: I wonder how Stephen King's Lisey's Story would sell if a Poser Render was on it (regardless of quality). I for one, bought Cell because the presentation and packaging looked awesome.

Thread: Apollo Maximus 2007 is coming, and he's going to be FREE!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think it'd be great if everyone could push APM to the limit that it would par those stuff on CGTalk or 2D paintings, beating the hell outta every figure ever made. EDIT: Especially the DAZ ones.
For free. :D

Thread: Embarrassing question...just what is diff between MAT pose and Materials? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Most of the time material editor files have no idea what material collections they are gonna apply to. However, most merchants use 'em to include advanced shaders while leaving the MAT pose with a basic texture.
Love it/hate it, once you have P5+, always look to the material room for texturing.
(Oh, and that's an interesting find about the eyelashes.)

Thread: Making $$$ with poser, how??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There's always scientific/magazine illustrations, which want QUICK responses and professional attitudes even if the art itself might not be even close to realism.
Even DAZ advertises M3 for uses like that. (Little bit shameless, though?)

Thread: Vista with Poser, DAZ Studio, LightWave 9, Cinema 4D ... verdict? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You have an XPS. :D
With an ATI card it should be fast enough for anything OpenGL.
nVidia? Wait another month- although the new 101.46 driver is REALLY stable, just lacking speed optimizations.

Thread: Imagine 8 cores working on a render! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Cloverton 1.6Ghz X2 = 720 bucks
Server motherboard with at least 2 PCI-E slots = 400 bucks
2GB FB-DIMM ECC RAM = 320 bucks.
+Geforce 7300 + 250GB HDD + Superdrive + casing + that premium Steve's always loved dearly= D: No way.
I considered this yesterday since insultating a pin on a socket enables overclocking, and I've heard quite good limits.
EDIT: I'm using US pricing BTW. But something nagging tells me it won't come that cheap.

Is there a way to fix it? I'm rather desperate, but not so to "obtain" a copy of P6 (I bought 7 rather than 6 and an upgrade). :p
