You are never going to be able to make a "virtual reality" with poser, you might be able to script together some rendered videos, but it wont be anything truly interactive....

In fact you will never find a "virtual world" that works in realtime with poser quality comparable visuals (well unless you can fund a air craft hanger sized render farm :D)

If you want an interactive virtual world your best bet would be PC gaming, there are plenty of "sandbox" games and MMO's that offer 3D worlds... and if you mix that with Nvidia's 3D setup (you will need nvidias 3D box and glasses, nvidia GFX card and a 3D compatible monitor) you will get a really nice experiance !

That was a joke, its probably because it looks good and is a bit of a cliche sterotype..... you know, the tall good looking guy holding a damsel in his arms... im gonna go with the cliche sterotype, if you look at most promos the guy is always taller....

So this drive by download thing can affect mozilla thunderbird as well as i get the spam failed delivery notifications as well on my ISP email address i use with that.

A lot of these failed delivery reports are because the spammers are spoofing the email system into thinking the fake mails come from you, but they really are not. Its not that hard to do....  Just take a close look at some spam emails, you can tell that with some of them a lot of work was done to make them look very real.

The best way to avoid these notifications is to never print your email address in any public form on the internet, this includes having them on forum posts forum profiles, anywhere that a web bot can read it... thats why sometimes you see people post their emails as "suchandsuch at fakeemailcomp dot com" or variations of that style, they probably dont work as im sure the bots that gather email addresses can probably read that style now...

Basicly the best email security you can have is what bagginsbill said combined with having multiple email accounts, have one for personal stuff with friends and family, one for joining sites, and one for your online public persona.  This way if one ever gets compromised the hit is not too bad !

As for the song itself, i couldnt make out most of the lyrics, the vocals are way too soft and the music itself drowns out the lyrics making most of them very hard to make out.(im not hard of hearing i just find it very difficult to focus and listen to softer sounds when they are combined with louder sounds)

For your next song i would recommending making the lyrics more stand out and listenable since its the lyrics that is important to rap style music.

This is a quick render i knocked up in a few mins using default stuffs with a small bit of tweaking & using GI lighting.

easy to fix, go to your control panel, then scroll to the bottom and click on "windows update", then click on "change settings" to the right of the window, and change the drop down box to "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" then click on ok.

This will stop windows from automaticly updateing and when you go to update it will allow you to choose what updates you wish to install, "i.e untick the video card drivers"...

the only downside to this is that windows will not auto update in the background anymore but it will still notify you when there are updates available. so thats not too big of a problem, if the corruption of your drivers are what you would consider a worse problem.

i would say just merge the extra runtimes into the one that poser reconises, that should sort it out.

And ban your husband from the computer for failing at moving a folder !!!! ;)

if you are after compatibility with really old games just keep your old computer in a closet or something, thats what i do, i currently use my win 7 64-bit comp & i have a win xp computer & old computer for dos / win95-98.....

I dont use the old comps much but its nice to know they are there :D

Also your power supply can play a large part in how environmentally friendly your computer can be, cheap power supplys have poor efficiency, in short they need more mains electricity to convert into the power that your computer needs which is very wastefull. these days its best to pay that little bit more for a high efficiency power supply... the power supply in my computer has roughly a 80 - 90% efficiency which means its drawing less power from the mains which saves me money in electricity bills, also it helps the environment :D
