Here in the UK we have quite a few solicitors dabbling in ambulance chasing illegal downloaders, problem is that looking at the press it seems quite a few innocent people get accused thus weaking the campaign of these legal companies.
One example wwas an senior couple who had been falsley accused of downloading a gay porn movie.

It seems to me that Vendors have very little protection from people illegally distributing their creations, as copyright notices do not stop criminals such as this site selling ones merchandise illgally, for sure DAZ, Renderosity, DNA and other marketplaces should be able to use the law against this site as it is reselling stuff without a licence which is held by these marketplaces.
I guess you will never stop people passing stuff bewtween each other as these are virtual items, but one can make it difficult, especially when as you say someone is actually reselling stuff.

Thread: Vista Ultimate or XP Pro for Poser | Forum: Poser Technical
Well I have only used Vista home and it does seem to be a tad iffy with some of the games my lad wants on his PC such as Command and Conquer which he goes back to at least once a year.
I myself prefer XP pro, but I have never used Vista Ultimate and then which one do I buy the 32 or 64 bit version for use with Poser.

Quote - Being in the Uk myself the CSO tend to have to much time on there hand's & will book anybody for the slightest offence.
Train station's unfortunately are a very bad place to take photo's due to the current state of society , I was recently apprehended for taking photo's at a Bus Station , ah well I still have the pic's if anybodys intrested.
Damn authority , Sorry I feel very strongly about this subject,
Peace!
I think if PCSO's or those who give them their briefings need to get their priorties right and spend more time saving lives (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/09/21/ndrown221.xml) rather then stopping people about their lawful business

I know one of the first incidents that started all of this was in Hull, East Yorkshire, England where I happen to live, also I have just learned that someone else in Hull as also had problems taking photos near the railway station, it is though just either over zealous coppers or security guards in Hull that is our problem.
Plus the fact Humberside Police seem to make up their own laws.

Size submissions, I think the upload description of 1024 x 1024 should be changed to 1000 x 1000 as that is the max size one can submit, also there is no file size in bytes for the thumbnail, just 100 x 100, which means sometimes, the upload report says that the thumbnail is too large.

I tried submitting an image, but the top box requires a file upload or else you cannot post an entry, what is one supposed to post in this file section.
Thread: how to sale pictures by the web.. somebody know how? | Forum: Photography
Is istockphoto the one where you have to do a Q and A before allowing to sell images, if so I could never get past the test.

What we need to do here in the UK is stop listening to every PC type whiner that raises these stupid ideas in the first place and its not our hard drives that need scrubbing, but the lunitic politcal nanny state leaders.
Once I used to love living here in the UK, but we are fast cathching up China in our lack of freedom of thought etc.
