I went to several 3D sites early on just looking to see what it ws all about. I stayed away from sites that you HAD to sign up for to even get anywhere on the site for a year or two. Just got tired of so many logins and passwords and having to registar at every site I can across. So I stayed away from rendo for a long time, same with some of the other sites. Finaly I had to give in and registar all over the place to get the freebies and post images and so on. No problem as I am more involved in it all now.
I guess the point I'm trying to make is it would be good for "outsiders" (lol) to be able to at least look at the gallery images without having to sign up. If they want the same benifits as rendo members then yes, they should join but it would be good to give an idea of what the site, the community is all about.

I know it's hard to except change sometimes and I'm realy trying to get used to the new galleries but my opinion so far is "arrrrrrgh!" I tried to upload an image last night 5 times and could not ever get it to go thru, so I posted at another site, so there new gallery, take that (poke, poke).
Maybe I'll have time this weekend to figure this thing out, lol.

Looks a little like David Bowie (early days) to me. LOL. The hair goes on Posette I think but that realy doesn't mean anything, the body looks to nice for Posette.

If you have the exe files I think you should be able to re-install it and choose Poser6 as the target folder. Mine says Poser5 sometimes but it still goes to my P6 Runtime. This way you have them ready for D/S or P6. Hope this helps.
Thread: Poses? I don't think so! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'll second that! It would make it easeir to find textures or poses. While I'm at it would be nice to make MAT file in Poser without a pulg in to buy. Maybe on the next version? (hint, hint)
Thread: Anyone else getting problems with Content Paradise checkout? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well I didn't have that kind of problem really. I reacently made my 1st purchase from there and the placing an order was a bit complex but then it took 5 days to approve my credit card trans before I could download the product. It's the same card I use at DAZ, Rendo, other 3D sites with no problem. I think they still have a little tweaking to do on the store part. BTW: Don't order in the middle of the night!! LOL! That's what I tend to do , then I stay up too late playing with my new toys, hehe.
Thread: Poser 5 or Poser 6? Opinions Please... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Go for P6! The lighting options are worth the update. P6 Shader s are much better than P4 texture setup. You can use most P4 stuff fine, some needs adjusting or adjustments to the render settings (you can still render in P4 mode). Unless you've got an old machine and it slows down bad I think you'de be pleased with P6.
Thread: Problem with DAZ hair in Vue 5 | Forum: Vue
I went to edit/prefrenes and un checked "use external morphs" and this seemd to work for me. My morphs are correct. Now the Hair thing I don't know, I havne't had that problem yet.
Thread: Problem with DAZ hair in Vue 5 | Forum: Vue
I'm very new to Vue but have somewhat the same problem. The morphs (smiles, expressions) do not transfer to V5I from P6. Somewhere in this fourm is a thread about this. It seems to be a problem using the compressed Poser files and the way it handles the morphs. Sorry too I can't be of much help, but I'm in the same shape.
Thread: Poser 6 Import Question--Please Help | Forum: Vue
I just got Vue5 Infinite and mine does the same thing. I'll play with the settings. It does make it a bit hard to put your Poser items in the correct place:)

Just got a new computer in the past month. Athalon 64 FX55, 2GB RAM, 2 NVida cards, Win XP Pro SP2,abspc.com works great! I have locked up P6 on it a few times but that happened worse on the old comp. I like to push things sometimes just to see and scenes with a lot of objests mainly trees and plants slow it down or I've gotten the "not enough memory" message twice. I like to use raytrace and IBL/AO lighting also and that slows the render some. But hey, my longest render so far has been about 45 min, lol. My old, old computer with Bryce 4 was sometimes 6-8 hrs render so I'm not complaining with an hour render at most. I'm not sure if the 64 bit comes into play right now as I think P6 is 32 bit. Good to be prepaired for the future if your upgradeing or buying a new machine.
Thread: Sara fan club? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey France and all! I've been working on a texture set for Sara when I found out they made the change. This is a white bassed texture that depends mailny on the eyes or eye sockets. So... this wont work on Sara2 (I don't think)but should work on V1 and 1.2. Made on Sara 1.2. Anywho, I was going to try to sell it but because of the way things are going with Sara I just going to offer it for free. I'll try to post an image with all the face textures (10 I think) tonight at Sara Fan Club site. I still have a bit of work to do on it and make the MAT files so it might take me a while to finish, too much back log,LOL. Here are some examples: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=637822&Start=1&Artist=tralfaz&ByArtist=Yes http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=639775&Start=1&Artist=tralfaz&ByArtist=Yes http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=635541&Start=19&Artist=tralfaz&ByArtist=Yes

Thanks Steve, I didn't read ALL the post so I hope this want be redundent. I agree with all the above post, this will be kickass! One of my main problems with Poser now is cross talk. I want to make scenes with alot of people in them. Can we do this easly with Poser5? (Just a thought)
