Thread: Again the mapping problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, Zygote uses Flesh but it's way too expensive. The unwrap UVW modifier in MAX works great but I don't know if I can achieve the desired results even after a lot of tweaking with it. That's what's so cool about UV Mapper. It's quick and easy. It splits the mesh where we want and how we want. Haven't figured how to do that with the UVW modifier in MAX. Thank you all for your sugestions. I'll give it a try.

Hey hopalong: Are you trying to create the ripples for use in Bryce? Here's my technique: 1-In photoshop draw the several circular pattern of the ripple using gradients or lighter/darker grey. 2-Use a little gaussian blur. 3-Then use this image for a new terrain in Bryce and apply it a glass texture. 4-place it just above your water surface and play with it. I got good results. Hope you do too.

Hopalong: Have you tried the ocean ripple and the ripple filters include in photoshop 5.5? Maybe if you make several selections of different shapes on several layers and apply one of these filters you'll get the effect you want. That's the best thing I can think of. I've never heard of a pluging to do that...

I'll tell what, let's forget about Corpus Hermeticum and all that stuff. This a Photoshop Forum and my alias was not supposed to be the main theme for this thread. Thank you all for your feedback but let's get back to the point. Adam asked how to do galaxies in Photoshop. There are probably many ways but have you tried Universe? http://www.diardsoftware.com/

I already knew all that version of the translation but I rather use one another, from a book supposed to be writen by Hermes Trimegistus himself. Never mind! Thanks for your opinion anyway!

Can it be Panopticum Lens Pro? http://www.panopticum.com/ BTW: Delrino, with all this talk I forgot to tell you how much I apreciated the fact that you recognize my alias. It's good to know that somebody out there shares my interest in ancient mithology.

Delrino: Get the demo version of Blade Pro at: www.flamingpear.com and of Genesis at: http://www.genesisfx.com/ The demos speak for themselves... Enjoy!

Eye Candy is really a one of the best plugins but maybe you should also try Blade Pro. And what about the old Genesis FX It's great! PS: Delrino, you can also say "three times great" but it doesn't sound right, at least in english.

Hi Delrino I'm not a native English speaker but shouldn't it be something like "Thrice Great". Does this make sense? Just chekin' :-)

Thread: how to read Bryce 4 .TIF files? | Forum: Bryce
Have you tried ACDSee 3.0? It's the best image viewer around. I think that PSP 6 or Photoshop 5.5 would also read those files properly. Forget the Wang stuff that came with win 95. It sucks!

Noel, My system took 11 hours and 17 minutes to render your scene. Spatial optimization high and just normal antialiasing. Man, it took something like 8 hours just for the antialiasing. Can I then conclude that Bryce 4 does not take any advantage of multiprocessing or mutithreading? If it did my system would have taken far less time don't you agree?
