Thread: Alpha channel? | Forum: Photoshop
I'm not sure if this will answer your question well or not. But if you save a selection, I believe it creates an alpha channel. I'm not at home just now, so I can't go into Photoshop and look, but if you go into the Channels palete (sp?). It will show you the alpha channel there. You may be able to just go to Channels and create one from the palete, but I can't remember.
Thread: has anybody worked out a pixels to poser unit ratio? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
As for the render to new window comment, I use it all the time. I usually set my document window to the right aspect ratio, but much smaller than I want my final render. That way I can fit everything on the screen at once and see all the tools. When I do go to render, I render to another window with the size I want it to be.

There's a free conversion of the Wedgecut to P4 Male if you have the wedgecut. Get it at the Daz3D store in the page for the WedgeCut for Michael.Thread: Please! Mac solutions for a bloating Runtime folder? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm not sure what you can do either, although I'm not sure if it really make much of a difference. My Runtime folder is around 1.5 GB, and growing all the time. It hasn't been a problem (other than overall disk space).
Thread: Should I extend this months challenge? | Forum: Challenge Arena
Please forgive my ignorance, but is this month's challenge the chess one? tubaman@mac.com The Monthly Challenges link to the side doesn't seem to have been updated for a while.

Thread: Window is too big for the screen and it cant be moved | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm not sure if I follow you or not. It sounds like you're trying to save a fully dressed figure to your library, and when you bring him back from the library he only has socks on, but the thumbnail in the library shows him fully clothed. If this is the case, it sounds like the rest of the clothes are not part of the group you're saving. I believe they do need to be conformed or parented to the figure to be part of the group so they'll save in the library. The thumbnail usually looks like the screen when you add your figure to the library, whether everything there is part of that figure or not.
Thread: Who can you trust.....needed a new MAC beta tester | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Sorry to hear about what happened. I'm a Mac user. I have an iMac DV (G3 400), and a Beige G3 Mini-Tower (266). I have Poser 4, non-Pro Pack version. I also have Michael, but not Victoria (1 or 2). If you have any questions for me feel free to email me at: tubaman@mac.com. My resume is available at my website: http://homepage.mac.com/tubaman/Thread: poser texture | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
More detail about your problem would help. When it doesn't work, how doesn't it? Does it not map correctly? Or does it not even load? Or something else? If the map won't load, make sure you have saved it from Photoshop to a format supported by Poser.
Thread: Really Bizarre Problem - Any Ideas? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Perhaps you should try moving a number of your children and see if you can then access the ones beyond "P" If that works, slowly add them back in until you find the limit (assuming that is the problem). Then you can decided how to combine some of your children, when you know how many you have to limit it to.
Thread: Macintosh users PLEASE READ | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It doesn't really seem all the necessary to me. Most things I see here relate to 3-D in general, or program specific. There seems to be very little difference in platforms from what I can tell. As a Mac user, I'm wondering what reason would there be for a Mac Forum on this site.
