Problem Soved thanks to SickeYeild!
It was caused by me using an uncessary Projection template in the Transfer utilty, and or Not using: 'Follower/wardrobe/shoes' from Content type.
Please disregard :)

Just googled it, It would have to be made as dynamic cothing. not really possible to build a conforming one it just wont look good.

@ Rokket, if you modelled her in Wings, then your model is the single best thing ive seen come out of Wings! not that its a bad proggy, it just has very basic tools compared to say, Blender.
Anyway i too would love to see your topology, and I think your character is looking great and just need a bit more defintion and sculpting around the eyes,
It certainly doesnt need a more 'oriental or female'look', i think she looks like a natural looking vietnamese girl, you dont want to risk over exadurating her ethinic or female features, or you might end up with a more 'generic' oriental female, which would be a shame.
What you have now has a certain amount of quirkyness to it which is a really good thing -quirkyness = character, striving for perfection in a human face can often yeild rather dull and generic looking results :P
Its hard to know when to stop with a project of this nature, but personally I think you've nailed the overal look.

I agree, Daz3ds S4 is about as good as it gets, Miki (bless her) has always been a bit odd looking.
I was thinking of embarking on a petite indian morph for either V4 or Genesis, god knows there is a shortage of indian characters. Trouble with v4 is that when you make her petite, things really tend to go south with most of her confoming clothing. V4 is just too bloody lanky by default. Genesis is a whole lot better, but it might die on its ass without full poser support

if you are doing a full figure then that is major challenge indeed. (i though this might be a morph.)
Good luck.
Thread: Two part Mat (pz2) using textures is it possible? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Shader spider is $10 im not sure it works with poser 9 and also it mentions outputing a partial mat to an FX6 format.
Since im attempting to make a commerical product I will need to stick to Pz2. Looks like I have to go for the more conventional option, (especially given my novice level with Poser Content creation in general.)
Im concerned Ill have too many textures lol. plus I need to think about duplicate Daz Stuido shaders too, since poser shaders dont work properly in DS. Its a bit of nightmare to be honest.

Thanks guys, fair enough, It maybe that Ive bitten off more than I can chew, it might be better i stick single mats. I dont think im quite ready for python scripts yet Phil, maybe later down the line :)

@ rocket IMO, at this stage it could pass as either boy or woman - BUT, I think with some make up textures and female hair, it would be unsmistakeable as an asian woman.
Most of the stock poser & Daz female figures could pass off as male in the same bald and untextured state. even Richardsons head could pass off as male in the right context (given boyish hair and clothes)
There is no exact science as to what determines a masculine or femenine facial features. :)
looking good, my only suggestion is maybe make her ears a touch bigger :)

Tested with limits on, I still get the buckling under an extream bend&twist but im not bothered as i tested the same movement on another artists shoe product and it does the same thing. So It looks like Im good to go. :)
Between you two, you have saved me hours of frustration, I cant thank you guys enough :)

Hi Phil,
Again - nice one! marking the fall off inactive has improved things vastly, still goes a bit nasty with an extreme toe twist or combined bend and twist. But those extremes might be beyond what is realistic human joint movement anyway. Ill test in DS where it autamically limits V4s joint perameters and see how it behaves..
Thank you again sir!

Hi again - I didn't want to needlessly make a new thread so I thought id update this one.
So far, I have imported the shoe, loaded V4 Dev Foundation as the Donor (but declined to adopted her Poly groups when prompted)
So I have my conforming shoe, with bending toe - minus an actual separate toe bone or Toe Poly group (which was hurting the meshes smoothing groups) I also removed all unwanted V4 bones via the CR2 editor - which went fine also.
So I'm nearly there-ish. But I do got some issue with fall off, there was some problems on the back of the shoe, but that was easily fixed by adjusting the Green 'V' in joint editor.
However I the toe is still problem when bend or twist dials (or both) are set to near their extremes, there is not enough fall off to prevent the faces in the bend area from collapsing in on themselves.
This might be partly down to my mesh having to many subdivisions concentrated in t his particular area, (not much I can do about that now sadly.) But also - as you can see from this next pic, there is insufficient fall off too.
So is it possible to still adjust the fall off? because I am not seeing the 'fall off' spheres for the toe, whether in the Pose room or the Setup room. (maybe because I don't have an actual bone? )
'Sphere 0' is listed in the joint editor, but all I can see this when I zoom out - And I cannot edit it with scaling or Translate.
I've tried adding a new fall zone off from the Joint editor, but it seems to have no effect - I get the same as above.
Sorry to be a paint in the ass. :(

Many thanks to you and PhilC yet again :)

Please forgive my lack of understanding. Ok 2 bones can still bend in a single poly group (thanks Phil :) ),
But "bending the toe via a dial' - but without using a toe bone? as mentioned by Dark edge - I dont quite follow..... (yet :) )
Thread: Noob in need of help rigging in Poser. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
But isnt that because Poser Generates the toe face group? Otherwise... Im even more confused. heheh :P
How can I instruct Poser to bind a mesh to donor bones without ant face grouping? Or would I need to make the bones from scratch?
