I'd change my mental picture from looking at skin to looking at a skull behind a thick veil. The upper brow is masculine and padded. I see a negative ridge between the hairline and the eyebrow arew. The eyesocket area catches a lot of shadow. Are you including the eyebrow hair in your sculpt? Too many directions to go. Lots of women have big brows, too..
She looks like a young girl. Preteen perhaps. clothes, hair and texture can go a long wat to help with gender.

Rokket, I think your face is quite good. I see girl/young woman from south of Asia. You can make it more specific but it is not necessary.
Asian/oriental race is adapted to cold climate. Her face should be flat - any folds increase skin surface. Make cheeckbones flat, fore smooth and eyesockets/orbits shallow. border between eyelids and brows or cheek should be smooth. Lips should not be protruding. Nose, nostrills narrow - forget about nose bulb ;)
To make your head more female make chin smaller, jaw narrow and smooth. You can make nose turned-up to make her cutie ;)
Anyway I think that pattern of race does not exist. Since ages armies of all world paid for the hospitality leaving theirs genes. If you can see any ancient mosaic with polychrome, you notice that Caesar, August, Calligula and theirs successors were blueyed blondies. I think that in Asia genetic mixes are similar.

I would like to second the comments of shuy above. Everything mentioned was important and well said.
The "flatter face" and smooth fold comments are important. In fact, the entire discussion and ramifications of the fold at the inner corner of the eye (Epicanthic fold) and the smoothness of the fold above the eye are critical.

What modeling software are you using and is your intent to fit into a model that lends itself to morphing the face?

I am going back and forth between Wings 3D and Sculptris to make her. I did the base mesh in Wings, and have been going back and forth tweaking ever since. I ended up doing a retopology in Wings because I didn't realize that Sculptris was converting the entire mesh to tris at one point (I have since corrected that, and I think I only have 3 tris in the whole mesh now.
It is my intent to is to have a fully Asian model (including the body, which I am going to strive to make as realistic as possible, as far as the overall body shape). I have a female friend who is willing to pose for reference shots for me, we just have to be able to connect and have the opportunity to do so. She is Cambodian/Chinese and very beautiful (she doesn't thinks so). Her body is very much like Jennifer Lopez, but not too much like her.
I don't think I want to have face morphs in her other than perhaps controlling the age of her face.

I already talked to her about that, and no... she isn't comfortable putting her pics on the internet. She is one of those rare ones who doesn't even do facebook, so I doubt she would let me post her pics for comparison or anything else.

@ rocket IMO, at this stage it could pass as either boy or woman - BUT, I think with some make up textures and female hair, it would be unsmistakeable as an asian woman.
Most of the stock poser & Daz female figures could pass off as male in the same bald and untextured state. even Richardsons head could pass off as male in the right context (given boyish hair and clothes)
There is no exact science as to what determines a masculine or femenine facial features. :)
looking good, my only suggestion is maybe make her ears a touch bigger :)
Hey, thanks! I made the ears that size because the girl I am modelling her after has those size ears. I used a plane in Wings to do that part of her after I sculpted the nose and mouth in Sculptris.
I know what you mean about the figures looking gender neutral without textures and hair, I put hair on this head and then replaced Alyson's head with hers in Poser. That was when I discovered the eyes are too wide, and I got the epicathic fold too deep. Not back to the drawing board, but I do have to redo them. But she did look like a very pretty young woman. I am feeling pretty good about how far I have gotten in a short time, and I know the biggest challenges are ahead of me, because I have to create a body, rig it, then see if she is going to work.

No, this is a new full character. I am not doing a morph because I believe that the current body types are not Asian due to being too tall and too thin in certain areas.

I agree, Daz3ds S4 is about as good as it gets, Miki (bless her) has always been a bit odd looking.
I was thinking of embarking on a petite indian morph for either V4 or Genesis, god knows there is a shortage of indian characters. Trouble with v4 is that when you make her petite, things really tend to go south with most of her confoming clothing. V4 is just too bloody lanky by default. Genesis is a whole lot better, but it might die on its ass without full poser support

Yes she looks asian., all worries about some silly PC aside, asian face is different from caucasian face, which is also diferent from negroid face., yeah they're all different. people dont get upset. so to the OP point i see this face looks pretty good asian face ....obvio its all in the checkbone line and eye depth set ....might remove some of the eye depth along bottom of eyes bring em fwd a bit here is an image, poor image, of what they might look like ( the eyes) with less Z...btw center brow peak is awesome the way U have it. toally asian. U worked hard I can tell. I think U R basically there but let's see the topology

I am working my butt off to get this right. I have taken a break for a couple days so I don't burn out. I downloaded the trial version of ZBrush, but I haven't installed it yet. I am wondering how well I could do the rest of her if I used it. I know a lot of textures have been done using it. I will have to see what I can do with it before I decide to sink the money into it.

@ Rokket, if you modelled her in Wings, then your model is the single best thing ive seen come out of Wings! not that its a bad proggy, it just has very basic tools compared to say, Blender.
Anyway i too would love to see your topology, and I think your character is looking great and just need a bit more defintion and sculpting around the eyes,
It certainly doesnt need a more 'oriental or female'look', i think she looks like a natural looking vietnamese girl, you dont want to risk over exadurating her ethinic or female features, or you might end up with a more 'generic' oriental female, which would be a shame.
What you have now has a certain amount of quirkyness to it which is a really good thing -quirkyness = character, striving for perfection in a human face can often yeild rather dull and generic looking results :P
Its hard to know when to stop with a project of this nature, but personally I think you've nailed the overal look.

To be fair and qualify your statement, only the base mesh was made in Wings. I did most of the sculpting and forming her face in Sculptris. So it's really more Sculptris than Wings, but I did retopo in Wings. I also looked carefully at the .obj files of Sydney and Alyson and copied some of their topology, especially around the eyes and mouth. I did a lot with making sure the loops were lending themselves to rigging for animation and posing.
I'll post the topology later on today.

I noticed that I still have to smooth the crease in her mouth. Didn't see that until it rendered, lol. But I am happy with my progress so far. Once I get past this, the real challenge is to get her body right.
