Thanks for the suggestions.Â
I had thought of the parenting bit before I posted here but decided against it. However after reading the reply about using parenting I decided to try it. Didn't really work. During scaling all the parts seemed to implode on each other. lol
So I'm going to turn it into a figure. Am just learning/practicing anyway so no harm done.
Thanks so much for the replies!!

Ah indeed! Very close my friend. What I was really looking for was one that is totally enclosed, none of the inside showing through. An example so you can tell is located on http://www.whiteagle.org/ Just the star, not the cross. Thanks a million! I'm sorry I was not more clear in my first message. Thank you, Kara

Thread: Daz Water Elemental - any art made w/ this model? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the replies... the Bodyguard looked kinda upset on the job though. That was a nice pic but I was hoping somebody did more of a RPG thing and put him in an action scene. The elemental doesn't get much attention.

Hehe yeah I thought it was gonna be straightforward too until I started doing it. Checked Schlabbers site and didn't find what I was looking for. Essentially the POV of this will be slightly angled above her and not from the side as the graphic shows. I want to focus on her upper body and face with arms covering the breasts and showing some background of the room for mood. Every time I played around with it for an entire day, I kept messing up somehow. Her shoulders would go whacko or her butt would get all twisted. I tried turning off limits and still didn't have much luck.

So I guess anyone can say their work is copywrited without having to submit any kind of forms to an agency like a patent process. You just have to have the date involved on it somehow and say that it is your original work. But, does this need to involve any written material from original art that is purchased Daz or Renderosity? If so, that's a LOT of text file documentation to keep track of. Or do you only need the documentation proof when you are legally questioned on the copyright itself?

I did a search on "artistic copyrights" and came up with this website.Thread: The long search for realistic grass *sigh* | Forum: Vue

I think this site has some neat looking grass in 3ds format which might work for you. Good luck. Oh and the kind of scene you are talking about seems pretty difficult. But I saw Final Fantasy movie which I heard was done with Maya. The main character's hair was blowing in the wind. If you haven't seen this movie, it's well worth it just to check out the graphics even if you don't like the genre. The DVD is hilarious with the "out takes" done on purpose.Thread: Anton's Adventurers | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmmm I had put off even looking at XP. I used to be a sys admin and got too used to NT/2000. And I understand about the tech support biz. Do you have a bottle of aspirin by the phone? lol The icons looks good as well as the grass background. That's pretty neat. I guess it's just the blue task bar that threw me off. I'd rather have a solid running OS than a good-looking OS any day. Thanks for the input Ron!

I thought those hats were called "toques" in Canada. I have no idea if I spelled that right or not. lol

Do yourself a favor and don't call yourself stupid. ;) Everyone has a blonde moment now and then. You're human after all. Happy Holidays
