FWIW, there are still multiple Prime Flash items showing 55-70% right now, with expiration of 11/29 or 11/30. Including kaleya's "Amore", Disciple3D's "Kung Fu Master Outfit", (which I would get except that I missed out on the hair).
As for Prime Flash Sales (which is always a handful of products).. I think everybody can do with the inconvenience of a few items at 50% off in comparison to an entire store on sale at their disposal!
Sorry, but I am part of "everybody", and I'm not going to "do with the inconvenience". For the most part, I don't bother with 50% off. You have so many storewide (black Friday, March Madness, Year End) and vendor specific sales that put items at 50% off that you've established that as my expectation).
Anyway, it appears that the answer to my original "yes or no" question is "no", so I'll just wander off now and keep an eye out.
Thread: Do I get my 4 days of sales back after the "black Friday" sale is over? | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
I'm sorry, but you are mistaken. I placed an order on the 25th for several items that were expiring that night. There were still multiple items in my wishlist that were showing 4 days 1 hour left when I placed that order on the 25th.
This included items by PainMD, and 2 of these 3 (uncle808us, forester, Darkworld). Probably others (I did not bother to memorize the entire cart).
All topsellers "Gobble-Up" Sales ended at midnight Nov.25th
They were still adding Gobble-Up sales on the 24th. Possibly even the 25th. It simply does not make sense that they would add sales for some vendors that would only get a fraction of the time other vendors were getting.
(Normally, I would have said something clever about you being upset because only 4 of the 1167 items I've bought were yours, but I'm not in the mood to tease anyone, and you're probably not in the mood to be teased. Some other day, perhaps).

Both. The sale runs from Friday to Tuesday.
Unfortunately, the items that I had picked out at 60% and 70% from several vendor sales that were supposed to run 4 more days jumped back up to just 50% off. So instead of cleaning out my wishlist, this "sale" is actually keeping me from buying 8-10 items.
I believe the same thing happened last year, so I should have known to check out on Thursday evening.

It is basically DIM (Daz Install Manager) updated. It only shows Daz purchased content.
I think it also shows things that go with what you already own. Like a texture set for a clothing or hair product that you may want to add to your collection. It's a marketing tool for DAZ3D, it helps them more than it helps you.
So an app that seeks to make installation and management of content of Daz 3D assets easier for the end user is purely a marketing tool?
This discussion isn't about "an app that seeks to make installation and management of content of Daz 3D assets easier for the end user": it's about Daz Central.

Tried it on Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.
Windows 7, OS-X 10.9, iOS 7.
30 inch, 24 inch, 13 inch, and iPad.
The improved site is a disaster on all browers, systems, and monitors.
As so many others have pointed out, no matter what the monitor size, this site only seems to work well full screen. YOU ARE NOT WORTH MY FULL SCREEN! OK, moving past your fatal hubris.
When you try to move an item in your cart to the wishlist, the entire bright and garish window imediately goes to black, except for a small spinner (the spinner is miscentered and wobbles as it spins, too). It comes back as bright and garish four seconds later.
Full screen on a 30 inch monitor 24 inches away from the user, the effect is rather like the lights going out, and then, after a few seconds worrying in the dark, something explodes. It's so intensely jaring that it's almost painful. First time it did it, I wanted to duck under the desk.
(I'm not exagerating about it being like the lights going out. A modern 30 inch monitor has as much light output as an overhead light fixture. 10s of watts. You don't flash that at the user unnecessarily).
Proper human factors would have been for the spinner to appear on the existing screen, then disappear, since nothing on the screen really changes, except that the "wishlist" button you just clicked goes away.
There's no need to blast the user into the middle of next week with explosions just to make a button go away.
Of course, decent code wouldn't have needed 4 seconds to move an item from one short list to another, so even the spinner is unnecessary, but that's another issue.
The wishlist has a conventient feature where you can check a bunch of items, click "add to cart", and viola, you've got a bunch of items moved from wishlist to cart. The cart has nothing like this to move items back to the wishlist (you should be managing those two similar lists from the same code. Shame on you).
In fact, either the code is severely buggy, or your idea of a proper workflow is broken, because the individual "wishlist" buttons on shopping cart items add the item to the wishlist without removing it from the cart. You have to go throug a second "delete" operation, with a second set of "plunge into darkness then explode" delays.
Seriously, why would someone add a cart item to their wishlist and want that item to remain in their cart? Do you think they're going to buy a bunch of them?
How about this. You click the wishlist button, the item is pretty much instantly moved from cart to wishlist, and a gentle animation, taking under 1 second, closes up the gap in the cart list.

Firefox 30 Windows 7
Firefox 30 OS-X 10.9
Safari OS-X 10.9
Clicking the "wishlist" icon on an item in the shoping cart adds the item to the wishlist, without actually removing it from the cart. You then have to go back and delete the item from the cart. Which is made even worse by code that takes 4 seconds to do either of these things.
Clicks Wishlist on first item (indicator goes spin spin spin, user drums fingers on desk)
Clicks Delete on first item (indicator goes spin spin spin, user drums fingers on desk)
Clicks Wishlist on second item (indicator goes spin spin spin, user drums fingers on desk)
Clicks Delete on second item (indicator goes spin spin spin, user drums fingers on desk)
Looks at four more items that need to be moved from cart to wishlist.
Closes browser window.
Makes note come back in a couple of weeks to see if they've fixed this mess.
Goes and buys something from DAZ.

Ouch. I'd always worry about "a clamp down on flesh". Sounds very painful. Man, I leave this site for a year or two, and when I come back, people are clamping stuff on flesh. ;)

I'm a bit confused. We used to have that feature, editing our own posts. And not just for 15 minutes, you could edit it until someone replied to it. When was that feature removed in the first place? And here's a silly question. If memory serves, I was the 4'th regular member to join this forum, many years ago. Are any of the other old timers still around?

Cin- suggested "The Former Merchants of Renderosity Club". How about Re-nderosity For-mer M-erchants? ReForM (or you could use ReForMer. Cin the Reformer ;) Although Legume would probably like it better if we could get it to make RePenT. Ciao! Joe

Ah, some of you kids were sure spoiled rotten. I've had an Altair (and a PIP-8) back in 1976. The Altair had 512 bytes (not megs, not k, just bytes) of memory. It clocked at 700kHz (0.7 MHz) and could execute about 150,000 instructions/second. It had no OS at all, couldn't even run CP/M. You had to enter a program using toggle switches, one bit at a tine. 30 bytes of code was enough to get it to read the rest of the program from punched paper tape. I remember how excited I was when I got a 1k memory board. With 1.5k, I had just enough memory to run Tom Pitman's "Tiny BASIC". The teletype that I used to punch the paper tape and make printouts ran at 75 baud, and could print a complete page of text in about 12 minutes, upper case only. My current machine has 3 million times more memory than Altair, a processor about 10,000 times faster, and several hundred gigs of hard disk. And a printer that can do a 300 page book in 12 minutes, with typeset quality. I had a TRS-80, back in 1977. Originally came with 4k of RAM, and a 4K BASIC in ROM. That machine was incredible, press the power button, and it was ready to run. No hard disk, it read programs from cassette tape at 250 baud. I used to build computers for people who bought them as kits, then got in too deep trying to build them. Including a Sol-20 and several Altairs.

My AS is classed as "high functioning", but it still is not a pleasant lifestyle. I've never had a bit of luck with the myriad od AS and general autism diets, supplements, etc. Although a diet very much like what the first article mentioned did do wonders for a candida problem and the joint pain that was interfearing terribly with my life. First comment, how about something like "click here to continue" or "enter here" on the first page. That first page looks like it's supposed to do something, like a flash movie is loading, or graphics content is downloading. YOu look at it for a while and nothing happens. Second comment, where's the photography? If I see a term like "dodge & Burn", I expect photography, not drawings or 3D. Ciao! Joe
